I tried to explain to a friend [who speaketh not very good English] about what Undead means. She overhead me talk to another friend about Warcraft...
So she's all "What's Undead?"
So I tried to explain that: pretend you die. And then you become alive again. But not human. Something else. That is the undead.
And then she's like "You can't be alive and be dead. That will make you alive."
so then I am all: That's why it's UNdead. You're not dead. Like the word unfinished. It's not finished.
She then walked away... scratching her head.
I was going to give her examples like vampires, ghouls, zombies... but meh...

Someone's already raped the "Your Mom" thing.
And then the next day she asked me why sometimes 'FAIRY' was spelt 'FAERIE' gonk . Apparently, she was reading a fantasy book WHILE her sister was on Neopets.

Because we have to have an old world spelling along with a new world spelling. We in this century didn't invent faerie or fairy. It'd be a shame if all of the literature in the world was thought to be written recently.

Sadly I didn't have any gonk
She knows what they are now, though (the next week after asking me that she told me that she knows what I was talking about). They call it differently from where she was from.
