Wished Away
It's raining, it's pouring,
Wishes to never wake in the morning.
Blissful memories tainted with panicked emotions,
Longing to to stream in with the ocean.
Rain, rain, go away.
Fevered feet dancing away the pain.
Never again will I think the same.
Hopefully someday you will see,
that this is not me.
Just like the rain, I will be wished away...
And I will come again another day.

The Green Plague
The world is green, the green is black,
The world is at war, they won't fight back.
Wolfish grins, glinting canines;
They are fake, life is fined.
Vi-rus, vi-rus, they all fall down.
They turn a blind eye and frown.
There goes the green,
They don't even see.
Death is the green...
Life is the key.

Rapture
Criminal images,
The essence of trust.
Consolingly, the melodies fill my mind,
As I lie in complete rapture

I'm loosing myself,
And before I know it
I've begun painting my life
in shades of you.

Gone
Don't believe the secrets
Buried beneath the snow.
The seasons cover lies,
nothing that you should know.
As the leaves change
And we are happy once again...
Another face gone,
Nothing like how its been.

Last Lie Taken
Cold, harsh, cloudy haze.
Not just another day,
Raise the lights, kiss the thorn,
the rose wilts as you pull away,
Not like any other day.
I watch, I laugh, I cry,
Such a perfect little act.
The lights fade, the house silent,
And the show will end.
My whole world falls apart,
Yes it was just another day.
