Minty approached the golden colored patterned cheetah after hearing that she did not object to her being there. she slowly walked though soft soil, not even making a sound, and reached the female cheetah. the golden cheetah looked rather sad and silent, minty wondered if she was disturbing soemthing. but past experience taught her company actually helps in some cases, and that she should try to comfort this stranger... it was just unlike minty to pass by a wounded soul and not try to help. she sat on the ground after stopping a few feet away from the other cheetah. "so, I am minty..." she said softly tilting her head from one side to the other "what is your name?" she was not lost in her own thought anymore, she now had something to kep her mind off her own problems...

Colche's deaitily featured face lifted to look at the other female and she smiled softly. "My name is Colche" she whispers, her voice a gentle muuur of a thing. She usually spoek quietly unless she was telling a story when her voice could carry over a crowd like no others. She had no wont to tell a tale now though, she was tired and hungry and her mind was full of the past.
Her long slender tail flickered as she looked to the mint green cheetah after another small pause and spoke her voice as gentle as a cloud "I almost forgot I am well out of the borders. Strange I never used to see any cheetahs at all and now they seem to be every where." she smiled weakly her fluffy ears twitching. She was going to comment on minty's coat but it seemed rather rude to say such a thing. She had never seen a green cheetah before.

With a slow purr, Minty lay on the ground and smiled at Colche "Nice to meet you Colche. I have to say--what a charming pattern you have on your fur! I am quite sure I have not seen one like you before in my life!" Well, she had never seen a green cheetah either, but she was a few of those who enjoyed being unique.
Feeling Colche's unwillingness to chit-chat, Minty stood silent for the passing moments, thinking what would a cheetah like Colche was doing alone.. was she an adventure seeker like her? or she simply had noone to keep her company?...
the turning to face the female, minty ended the peaceful silence between them with a nod "i have rarely came across cheetahs in the past, but i met quite a few in the past weeks, it's true.. maybe finally our kind has gathered some courage to wander off their motherlands?" she let out a soft laughter "the cheetahs i know are quite dedicated to the lands they are born in, they rarely leave it... quite boring, if you ask me.." she did not know whether it would sound as if she was prying on colche's privacy but she was more curious then she was curtsy. "may i ask what are you doing around here? i am quite sure i have never seen you before..."

Colche looked dreamy, an almost far away look in her dusty blue eyes "Thankyou, I don't beleive I have ever seen a green cheetah eitehr" she grins "though I heard tales of one when I passed through the jungle."
She gave a sopft sigh at the questioning "I acctually live a ways form here, int he cheetahs coalition lands, there are so many of us. I simply..felt the need to move. Have you ever wished to just go?" she shook her head saddly "Unfortunately I was reminded of a past..shall i say experience it sort of..hit me hard and I'v ben wandering for days now. i don't quite know wheer I'm going. To see the world maybe..Truely..who knows her dusty ears flickered and she cleaned a paw she didn't usually like ehr fur being dirty, she was meticulous in that sence.
"I may wander for a time before I return home. I have only had the wonderlust once before, I don't quite know why I have it now." she smiled weakly her gentle blue eyes searching the horizon perhaps for answers.

Minty could not help but giggle "Oh,, that may be me I don't know.. I have never seen a green cheetah eaither.. even my family does not have anybody green in it.. i am kinda like the black sheep of the family... or rather.. green.." she smiled sheepishly to fit with the situation.
minty listened to what colche said with utmost attention.. she haf met quite a few cheetahs but she was anxious to meet some more. "coalition lands?" she asked "i was on my way there actually.. i have never been there. you see... i liek wandering around, seeing new places..."
she then blinked at colche's comment about leaving... just leaving... did she feel the same way too? same restlessness? same feeling of not belonging anywhere? "i know that feeling" she said softly "not being satisfied with any place, not feeling at home anywhere..." she looked sadly at colche.. who knew what her past held... she did not intend to ask and make this sweet cheetah remember all those apparently painful memories again, she could not do that... all she could do was comfort colche without words, so she smiled reassuringly. "our past may hold many dreadful things, but... i know that is not my place to say, i dont even know you that much.. but in order to live your present and future, you need to let go of your past.. because.. it simply does not exist anymore" she gived a calm smile "i can see you deserve better than that" she assumed what made cocle wander around was the need to run away from her past...
then she sighed "i wish i had some place to call home.. but unfortunately i dont.. not yet..."

Colche smiled wistfully. "I had a home once a long time ago, then I travelled tot he coalition lands and found a sanctuary, happiness a family even. I don't even know why i left I just...had to, it's so strange, would you beleive a pup made me think about my old life? I usually..i don't speak bout it, but I remember my mother so fondly some nights to be told by a puppy of all things that she doesn't need ehr mother..It breaks my heart"
The dainty cheetah sighed "I'm sorry it seems my lips are loose today, perhps it's the heat" she smiled in a sad manner her perfect blue eyes searching out over the dry alnds once again. "I hope one day when I am a parent that myc hildrenw ill not think the same of me" she frowned. It was an awful thougth to not be wanted and even worse to not be wanted by your own children.

Minty wondered why Colche divided her life into two parts, old and current.. Maybe she had something traumatic in her past that she wanted to keep seperate from her current life?.. Maybe something about her family even? Minty did now know. She didn't even know if she wanted to know...
"A cub? His story must be quite dramatic to effect you like that..." then she looked away "In times like this I feel so spoiled... I don't have a traumatic event in my life, I haven't even suffered... But i feel so sad sometimes, so aimless... and then i think about ones who really suffer.. makes me feel so bad..." minty then turned to colche "that puppy sounds a little like me" her voice was sad and fading.
then colche's words made her smile a little "no, you don't speak a lot at all... it is quite a pleasure really, to get to know someone like you." she was happy to meet someone as mature and as soft as colche... it balanced her childish restlessness.
"i don't think i will ever have children... i don't know if i am capable of such maternal acts... i am too restless to be pinned down to a place by pregnancy and the kids... but i am sure you will make a fantastic mother..."

The little femme smiled, "One day maybe" She sighed softly, her dusty blue eyes going to the far away stretches she was heading in. "I will return to the coalition soon no doubt. I just need to clear my mind." Her long tail flickered in the dust casting a brown airy barrier around her for a moment.
"There was a time when i never would have thought of leaving my home, wgheer I was until i found out about the coalition, a little bird told me, quite literally, about the coalition lands about all the cheetahs there. Saftey, saftey in numbers no longer a need to fear the lions." She shivered physically at the word before shaking her head.
"I seem to have left my sanctuary and I don't have a clue where I am going to, I'm sure I'll know when I get there and then, then maybe I can settle my mind and finally think about that family." he laughed softly. "I don't think I have ever spoken so much to somone I didn't know, perhaps this is a dream minty? Do green cheetahs really exsist after all?" she laughed and touched the otehr female with a tentative claw "You're certainly real any way." She smiled in a slightly cheeky manner resting her head on her paws with a cheery giggle.

Minty nodded in sympahty "I haven't been to the coalition lands yet, but since there are so many cheetahs out there, I think I would do the same as you to get rid off all the commotion buzzing inside my head..." She smiled "We all need to relax sometimes..."
She was not the kind to survive too long in a place too crowded with her own kind, Minty knew she was a friendly cheetah, but living away from her family for so long had effected her social skills and now meeting Colche made her realize how much she missed the company of someone like her.
She let out a giggle as she heard Colche talk about green cheetahs being real "Ah that would be such a disappointment for me, if I was merely a dream... I preffer 'real' thank you!" she laughed "I am one of a kind you know" she said in a cheerful joking manner and she smiled sheepishly at Colche. She was enjoying herself in the company of this golden cheetah and she did not know why she felt like somehow they were connected... Her claw otuching on her minty fur just felt natural. She could not help but wonder, even though they did not look alike at all maybe they were related and that could explain the easy and warm feeling she felt towards Colche.. or maybe she just symphatized with her confusion inside.

Colche looked at the female with a little smile, ehr long tail twitched at thevery tip before she spoke again"I hearsd a tale once about a green cheetah, of course I thought it was just a tale it was so far fetched" she chuckles "I like stories, they make me smile" a little puurr came from deep in her chest as she thought of that tale now, perhaps it wasn't so far fetched after all? Most myths came from truth after all.
"Perhaps he does exsist then" she puurrs softly shaking her head "All mysths come from some ounce of truth I am told." Looking up at Minty she gazed off in to the distance "I will certainly find out one day." she smiled whistfully, perhaps that was what she was doing? Searching for new stories to take away the old pains? It was a good enough excuse for travelling, at least for now.

Minty nodded "Yeah that green cheeath might be me.. or the one I am looking about..." She looked over at the horizon "That is why I have wondered this far.. to see if there was really a cheetah colored the same color as me" It was a low possibility but still was worth a try... And even if she could not find any green cheetahs, she met Colche to whom she strangely started to feel attached to.
Minty changed the subject, because talking about green cheetahs made her feel more like the black sheep of the family as she alwady was. "I never talk about my past or present Colche, because there really isn't anything to it.. ordinary stuff... wandering around out of my own whims... but you seem different... you seem somehow... lived thought much more than i did.. So if you need anyone to talk to I am always here" She nodded, listening to others' problems always made her feel as if she had an aim, a meaning to her existence. She had to continue on her journey but somehow, she did not want to leave Colche behind.. "Want to come with me to see if there are more unique colored cheetahs?" she offered.

Colche smiled softly. The offer was a nice one. Still. She sighed softly "I have to return to the coalition. I..I beleive I won't have to go very far" she paused for a moment looking overly contemplative "Perhaps it is a pilgramage, something that I have to do to settle my mind then, then perhaps I can return and feel safe, at home, it is such a wonderful place but my heart needs a little nudge just so, so I can feel right"
She chuckled "That sounds like a very weak excuse. Thankyou very much for your kindness though" the strangely marked cheetah looked away over the horizon, she knew wheer she was going, the jungle, her mothers resting place, her old home. "Perhaps, we will meet again one day? i would like that" she smiled softly her dusty blue eyes glimmering int he sunlight. "I think, it is time to go now though" She stood slowly stretching her slender limbs "I only have so far to travel.Pehraps by the end of my journey my mind will be healed and my heart finally full" Leaning down, she nudged the green female "when you have done withyour wanderings, come to the coalition lands. i will be there."
With that said she turned in the direction of the jungles. This was a lone pilgramage soemthign she hadto do for herself. "thankyou" she called back one last time as she trotted off in tot he distance away to the land that would perhaps heal her aching heart.
