When it comes to the tv show of yyh do u like the japanese version or the english version..? for some of the voices i like the english better like yusuke and kwabara but i LOVE KURAMA AND HIEI'S JAPANESE VOICES!!! heart heart 4laugh but i was just wondering ^_^

I,ve never seen the Japanese version, but I've listened to the character's image songs so I know what they sound like. I really like the way Koenma sounds in Japanese...

Lets see... The Japanese voices are alright.. Yusuke, Hiei, and Kurama, and pretty much everyone sounds good, besides Kuwabara and Genki, I dont care for their voices..
But when I dont feel like reading I watch it in English.. ^^

I love the english voices!! I'm sooo in luv with Justin Cook's voice (I woulda thought he'd be cute in person*gags* no...), and Kurama's voice. I think that FUNimation did well.
I like the English bc I started with that and thats how I ended up liking the show. I thought they matched perfectly. But I think that if I watched the original version (which I didn't do til the Sensui Saga), I woulda liked that better
ENGLISH!! ^_^

Hmmm, well, it's very difficult for me to pick. I started out watching the English and I love the voices to death, but I think that I prefer the Japanese now. I still watch the English though. 3nodding

I can't say...both are extremely good...the Japanese and English both match the anime...other then Jin's Japanese...way funnier in English, with a good accent by Jerry Jewel xd

I love the Japanese voices. But I do have to say that the english voices aren't half bad. Kuwabara in English sounds almost exactly the same as Kuwabara in Japanese.. but I'm pretty sure that's a bad thing.
I agree with Haruhiryu about Jin's accent too. In the Japanese version he.. had.. like none.
But, I like Kurama and Hiei's voices in Japanese more than I like them in English.

I love Hiei and Kurama's voices in Japanese (God Nobuyuki Hiyama got a sexy voice!!!) and yusuke's is good too. Kuwabara's voice annoys me, don't know why, but it does.
I adore the English voices, especially Hiei's (I heart Chuck Huber!!) and John Burgmier did really well with Kurama's voice. Justin Cook did awesome with Yusuke, and again, kuwabara's annoyed me. I like Botan's voice better in the Japanese better than the English.
So, in conclusion, i would have to say that they tie, well...for YYH anyway, not sure about other animes though.

The english dub has so many good jokes tha the japanese version lack.
My friend does not like the japanese ver because Kurama has a female voice biggrin

I have seen the episodes in english, when I just started watching the first episode I thought "OMG! English!" because most of the anime that are dubbed in english (for exapme, Sailor Moon) sound creepy and the voices don't suit the characters >.>;; but after a while I saw that FUNimation did a very good job and I think english is much better than Japanese. I have YYH movie in japanese. T.T I really really wished when downloading the movie that Kurama wouldn't have a females voice >.> I wish I had the english YYH movie.

its not so much the voices that bugs me its more the translation, i think when they translated YYH into english they made it a little less serious and a little more fun which is exactly what it needed. so im in favor of the english version.
