The sun rose slowly, almost like it was reluctant to come out, and with the sun rose Zingatia, yawning widely and stretching his limbs as he stood, tail waving happily. He perked up his long ears and let his long tongue hang out lazily, wandering away from the tree that he normally slept by. It was a small tree, disfigured, but he liked it. It wasn't normal, and it sure wasn't beautiful, so, he liked it. He sighed loudly, contentedly, and then made his way towards the little pile of rocks that lay nearby, his favorite place to sit.

Nkechi loped through the grasses at the edge of the graveyard, seeming a little bit...off today. She couldn't find her mother and well...that was a little saddening. Chi didn't need her anymore, really, but that didn't mean she didn't care. So today she couldn't find herself as distracted by the butterflies and sunlight and all the nice things outside of the bones and dust. Well, at least not right away. Nkechi could usually be easily distracted.
As she loped, she didn't notice a familiar scent in the air, nor that someone else was sitting near by.

It's been a while since Dafina took a rest. As he neared a smal drying puddle he lapped up the water and found a patch of dried bushes to sleep under. It was a long trek for him to get to the edge of the graveyard. And he'd never been here before. Laying down he thought to himself of Temari. He hadn't seen her in a long time and he hadn't come across anyone who he might wish to take herplace.

Zingatia picked his way to the top of the pile, and he threw himself down onto a large flat rock, his large, flat rock to be precise, and looked around. He spotted the lion cub that he'd had the pleasure of meeting a while ago, and he barked to her, trying to get her attention.

Nkechi, however, was no longer a cub. Now she was almost an adult and it showed. While she wasn't huge for her age, she wasn't small either. Average was an easy way to describe it. However, when her ears perked at the sound of the bark, it was obvious she still had a similar personality. For at first she looked rather distressed or even frightened-for barks didn't come from lions. But then, as her ears flickered back and she caught sight of who it was she relaxed slightly. She at least knew this one, "Ohhh...hi Zingatia...!" She swished her tail sheepishly.

Hearing a bark in the distance Dafina urged himself to go on. He must hear what was happening. He slowly stood, his legs getting weaker seamingly just as he stood there. He trotted off further towards the noises. There he saw a lion, And a what? It wasn't a dog like her was, he'd seen many of those. Of course he couldn't hide very well either because of his colors, so he needed to be absolutely silnet as to not be seen. or heard. He continued to stare watching.
