Hello people, Army JROTC here. 1st Semester Corpal, sadly. I just got promoted a few days ago. Even sadder fact is that they had no clue why they didn't promote me earlier. If I didn't ask them again, for the thrid time of them directing me to different SAI or AI, I would have never got promoted. EDIT: Oh yeah, Marksman here! >.< Love my #4! She's my baby.

I'm in Army JROTC, soon to be either NJROTC or AFROTC it all depends on what school i go to when i move. But currently I'm a Sergeant and 1st Platoon 3rd Squad Leader... As much as i love my battalion, it's filled with complete idiots, i think me and a very few other students actually take this seriously (well at least on the freshman side.) And hopefully when i do move, the people over there aren't completely retarded >.<.

My unit is filled with idiots who arent respectful, dont take it seriously, and have no business being enrolled in the program. The only reason why they stay is because our Colonel believes that maybe we can rub some good off onto them. As for the rest of them, once they do reach a position they rarely do their job. Im one of the few that does do my job properly.

I know exactly how you feel, my Leadership Team, there just isnt enough words (or the right rather) to describe how corrupted it is.

Hey... I'm was just a freshman.... ((School just ended.)) And I took it serious, hell, I bossed people around higher rank than me. No one really cared as the ones I did boss around needed to be put in line and they got in life afterwards xP But yeah, I was a good freshman Cadet.

Dark_Star_Soul14 My unit is filled with idiots who arent respectful, dont take it seriously, and have no business being enrolled in the program. Im one of the few that does do my job properly. Amen to that. That is exactly how it is in our core. Part of the cadtes are either too stupid or too lazy to do anything, and the other part (mostly our key leadership) are so filled with a sense of power that they abuse it. I'm a flight commander, the Kitty Hawk Air Society commander, and Chief of Finance, and I take my job very seriously. Staff meeting for us have become a joke. Even my own NCO (after I have told them) don't show up. Last year and this ear we have had to fire two of our core commanders, one for getting arrested numerous times and the other for being cought having sex in the staff work room. This is getting ridiculous. it seems like ROTC has lost so much discipline in the last years.
