w00t, past my PT test today!

PT tests blow. Especially when over half your unit fails. -.-'

Then comes a hours worth of screaming. And more PT then you can stand. Even when you passed both standereds.

my unit is horrible with pt tests. i dont think more than 10-15 people could pass. I can, of course

Hey I'm going to VA for boot camp, anyone have any suggestions, hints and so on?

Well our unit goes by the approx. of boot camp, and I'm pretty sure that's what sets the standereds, but alot of us go onto SEAL and other trainings, so our unit is harder, cutting the mile time to under 7 minutes, 45 instead of 25 push ups and so on.

We are actually not half bad, alot of the sucky cadets dropped out, so only 1-2 out of our unit fails it.

I know HQ has regulations on PT testing, and we arent supposed to make you guys do anything 'strenious'.

Which ruins my day. Severely.

Meh, HQ regulations are confusing and hard to decipher without help from regional. Have you SEEN some of the uniforms that some cadets are walking around in?! scream Its a embarassment to the Corps. Seriously. Most units dont follow uniform regulations, or they mix and match things without regional waivers. Its..awful and a embarassement.

Back to the PT testing. Its SUPPOSED to be standerized throughout the Nation, but again..this is the NSCC we are talking about. It will take forever and a day to establish things or even regulate it. So im not too sure. I know my unit follows the requirements for both male and female, and it isnt too hard. My grandmother could pass the female standered.

But lets not get into that arguement.

So do we, I have like 6 sets of PT gear, because of SLS and the 'old' and 'new' styles.

Boot camp, will be easy. Be in shape, know your stuff, keep your trap shut, do what your told, and never be memorable and youll do fine. I get the pleasure of staffing one in July.
