Sneaking away from his mother for a bit, Siltim wanted some time for himself. His mother was always watching him as he was the last born, and thus, the smallest of the litter which meant that he got most of his mother's worried glances. It annoyed the little green cub and made him slightly rebellious, thus the reason for him to be wandering off on his own. Lime green eyes glanced here and there as he wasn't looking for anyone in particular.

Walking ot on the lush grass Pridelands, a little minty green head pked about as the pitter patter of paws could be heard. The small cub was wandering about as se snuck off from her mother and father. With a little leap she made her way off under a canopyed tree that hid the suns rays so well. A white toothed grin shown on her muzzle as her thoughts went back to the night before. She had gained the name Ma'isah. She was actually proud of the name, though at the time she had not knwon what it had meant. Wit a light chuckle she felt the suns ray s on her back as she wandered about. Ma'isah was the oldest of the litter, and with that she felt that she would be the protecter over her siblings.

A bird was hopping on the ground some distance away from Siltim, and being the rebellious cub that he was, crouched low to the ground. Lime green eyes were locked forward on the bird as he hid in the grass. Blending in quite nicely with his color, thanks to his mother. Trying not to move a muscle, he wanted till the bird got a little closer before springing into the air. No luck for him as the green cub rolled over a few times before his legs were spread out. Shaking his head, all that he produced was an "umpf!"

Laying beneath the tree, Ma'isah's emeralld eyes were fixated on afigure in the distance. Tilting her head she watched with an intent gaze and started to giggle lightly from her small voice. The golden markings on her minty coat seemed to stick out in the sun's beams, it etched a golden glow. Creeping fromt he high grass, the cub was being her over protective yet trickster self. Crawling low in the grass of the savanah, she stared at the figure noticing it was now Silitim, her younget sibling. A gleeful grin was on her muzzle as she neared closer with each step. A little trick couldn't hurt?

A dull ache in his legs brought stars swirling around Siltim's view of sight. He was always one for fun and it gave his mom something to do. Sighing sadly, he didn't get to play with the bird as it flew off. Unaware that his older sister was near, the green cub pushed himself up and shook himself of the dust that had collected on his coat.

A light chuckle excaped the girl's throat, as she edged closer and closer to her brother. Silly Silitim. With a quick motion she set off in a light trot through the grass. Her emerald orbs gazing at the scenery as she raced. The feel of the savanah grass underneath her paws made Ma'isah shiver in delight. A true born huntress. With a quick notion, she swept out of the grass with her paws extended lengths away. Lowering next to her brother she grinned and tilted her head. "Silitim!" Her squeaky childish voice exclaimed happily as her dramatic entrance was fufilled.

Eyes got wide like a doe caught in the headlights of a car. Siltim was caught and his fun would be ruined by his older sister! His tail flicked lightly as if nothing had happened, she hadn't saw his fall had she? Not dwelling on it, he mumbled a greeting, "Hey Ma."

With a light giggle Ma'siah nuzzled her brother as a loving sister would. Her emerald eyes were focused on his lime green, the colors almost penetraing her mind as she gazed at him. He had their mother's eyes. Flicking her black tipped tail, Ma'isah blinked and walked in a circle around her brother with her wide smile on her minty muzzle. "Silly Silitim. Did I scare my brother?" She joked with him and watched him mumble. Ever since birth the young cub felt the need to watch over her siblings. Maybe it was because she was the oldest, she did not know. But her family was the world to her, her entire meaning of life itself.

Puffing out his chest with a hurt look on his face, Siltim said quickly, "I'm not silly and you didn't scare me!" He pawed at her back after her muzzle, not returning it as he didn't know if he should or not. His mother coddled him all day long and it made him resent touch slightly. His light green tuff of hair flicked slightly as he turned to look around, for any signs of his parents looking for him. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with Ma or Da?" Forgetting the fact that he had purposely snuck away from them.

Feeling the paw on her muzzle and pushing it back she snarled lightly, almost a playful growl. It still wasn't even a growl, more like a light whimper with ferioucity in the tone. Shaking her head, Ma'isah turned to face her brother. Her head was held up high as she tried to look taller then her sibling, she often liked the feeling of being oldest though she had the request to make sure they were alright at all times. Glancing back at trees she sighed and turned to Siltim. "I am doing just as you are Silitim, wandering about the Pridelands. Ma and Da must think we are off near not far. I might ask you the same why you wandered so far. If Ma found out she would be very mad."

A whine weaved its way into his voice as Siltim spoke, "I can never do anything with Ma!" He began to pace slightly, from side to side as he put his paws into their pawprints rather violently so that a cloud of dust rose up. "She always thinks that I'm too small to do anything. Just because I am small doesn't mean I can't do anything!" His voice rose to a tiny squeak with his frustration as his mother over-protecting him. He loved his family, but he wanted his alone time too. Speaking of wandering the Pridelands, the green cub took off running through the grass. Towards where? He had no destination in mind other than to see the world. If his sister followed then so be it, she could get in trouble with him.

Listening to her brother speak, Ma'isah felt a twinge of pain in her. She had knwon their mother became overproctective of Siltim, but she did not realize it was this much. With a sigh she saw him dodge off, her eyes strained as she chased after him. How silly these emotions played with his mind, she needed to help cheer him up. A cold shudder ran through her spine as she continued leaping over small pebbles and stones, the grass hit her sides as she dashed off after her brother. If their parents knew of them out in the grassland they would be in a huge amount of trouble.

A black figure had watched the two cubs carefully, never seeing anything quite like them. They blended into the grass so well that had it not been for the black on the male cub and the gold on the female, he might have looked right over them. A grin slowly grew on his muzzle as he watched the little male cub run off. Yaten crept close to the ground, keep an eye on the male cub who was unaware that he was running straight towards the cheetah.
The grass whipped past Siltim as he felt himself calm down a bit with this newfound freedom. His mother would die if she knew where he was, especially when she wanted him right by her side and in range of sight of all times. Lime green eyes weren't looking where he was going and he was unware that he had a pair of eyes watching him, waiting for him to get closer before the cheetah snagged him up in a switch movement and loped off with the cub dangling from him mouth. It took a moment for Siltim to realize just what had happened before he began to thrash around, throwing quite the temper to his capturer. "Let go of me!"

Glancing to the east and west, Ma'isah lost track of where to go but continued running like the wind itself. A shocked expression was on her face as she stopped in front of a tall dark cheetah who had her brother in his jaws. Snarling bitterly, which sounded more like a groan was heard from the cub's mouth as she lowered her body to a crouch. "Siltim!" She gasped at seeing him taken up by another. Twisting her head, her emerald eyes were cold on the intruders as she tried to fake the look she had once seen her father put on a foe. FLicking her fur tail she spoke, 'Let my brother down! Who are you?"

With the cub in his mouth as he loped off, Yaten's ears flicked back slightly at the voice of the female cub's. Dang, she had reached them sooner than he thought. No matter, he was a cheetah after all and could out-run her any day. Running off a ways till he spotted a fallen down tree, he placed the green cub on the tree. Brown eyes gazed at the green male curiously, never seeing anything of this color before and he wasn't sure if the cub was real or not.
His attempts to be put down were futile and thus, stopped his movements and just waited for the thing to put him down. What had caught him? No sooner had he thought those words did he feel something solid beneath his feet. A tree! Lime green eyes were wide as he didn't see his sister anywhere and didn't recognize where they were. Were they still in the Pridelands? Then, averting his gaze back to the black figure, he blinked at the gaze. "Wha?" He puffed out his chest and tried to make himself look bigger than he actually was, "Wha are you looking at? Wha are you?"
