Nestled beside a lake, a bathouse laid. This was the place where most of the hanze bathed that didn't have a body of water near them or their own private ponds.

The bathhouse was a very crowded place and there wasn't much privacy. There were mostly more gehaka here than haka though because most haka like their privacy.

Ren entered the bathhouse once again. He usually comes around here twice a day, but everyone thinks that he just wants to be clean to impress haka but that was far from it. He felt guilty everytime he came here, but no one noticed anyway.

The tanned gehaka slipped out of his clothes and into the lake. His golden eyes peeked at other bathing gehakas for a bit before he closed them. bad Ren! Bad! Don't look at them! Think about something else like how it was hot today...real hot...not even the water is cool...its warm...ick...I like taking cold baths He let his thoughts trail off, one flow into another like a group of rivers and streams.

Kimeru looked over at his Mother, watching his movements as they entered this slightly 'quaint' bath house. They had no reason in any to come here, except the possibility that his Mother was trying to scout out a Gehaka husband for either one of them.

'Just what I need.' He thought bitterly, 'A place full of people peeping at one another and being generally perverted. If Mother hadn't been so angry and violent I wouldn't have come here in the first place.'

None the less he slowly shed his outer layers, VERY aware of the eyes that watched his slender frame. It made him feel dirty to be here, and if this feeling got any worse he'd leave, regardless of what his Mother did to him later on.

Ren opened his eyes and his ears twitched. He moved a bit, he didn't want to get bitten by a mosquito which tended to come in swarms on days like today. He knew that his mother would scold him, he did absolutely nothing to help him. That haka could die this instant and he wouldn't care.

He looked across the horizon. The sky was always so pretty at sunset, one of his favorite times of the day. He started to wonder about where the sun came from, what would happen without it, and all other big questions that could not be answered.

Kimeru stepped into the water slowly, taking his time to get used to the temperature and to swallow the nasty feeling that was welling up in his throat.

'Hang in there, hang in there.'

He pulled his hair up into a bun, pinning it neatly so not a single strand would fall into the water and become sullied. Still, he stood at the edge of the water with his towel about his body, watching his Mother walk in and start up idle chatter with the others around him.

'I hate this, so much. What a waste of time.'

Ren sank lower into the water so that only his nose and up was out of the water. What was in store for him? Was it his fate to do the exact same thing every single day? Sometimes, he wished that he wasn't the thinker. He always had to nitpick at every little detail of his life, stuff that others probably don't even have the time to notice or just don't care.

my trip here would've been so much better if my brother were with me Well, too bad because Kratos didn't want to come within a foot's distance of him and to ask a haka to come along with him would be a bit awkward, so he just stayed there in silence.

Kimeru spotted a Gehaka in a cornerish area, one that seemed to be more content in his own thoughts than to stare at him and think dirty thoughts. In his own mind, the Haka felt sitting near that Gehaka would be in his interests. So he did, moving over and slowly taking a seat beside Ren.

"...."

He said nothing, only sitting in the warm water and letting the steam wash over his face. Silence at these times was one of the better things.

Noticing the haka's presence, Ren retracted from his thoughts. He glanced at him before once again gazing of into the distance. If the haka wanted to sit near him, the gehaka wasn't going to stop him. Who was he to tell a haka where he could sit?

Kimeru shook his head softly as a bit of water ran down into his ear, causing it to itch. He really didn't like bath houses, but the fact that his Mother was deep in 'conversation' with a bunch of others meant they were stuck here for a while.

Ren was tempted to start a conversation with the haka but he didn't. Some haka aren't the ones to mess with and he didn't want to start anything at his relaxing time. Well, all day is his relaxing time.

Mibu Shinrei had once again, left his house to get away from his mother. And he felt dirty because of all the sickness and horrid feelings around there...even if he himself generated most of the horrid feelings. Why couldn't the old b*****d just up and die already? It wasn't like there was any chance for him to live!

Thus, the pale haka found himself in the bath house that day. Paying the few coins, and walking in. Any gehaka that stared for too long would get a slight sniff of dislike, or a cold, sharp glare from Shirei's ice like eyes.

Striping off his kimono and obi, all that was left was an extremely pale body. Shinrei took a respective seat and let the warm water douse him. That was the only warmth he took pleasure in. The haka rather dislike the sun. He preferred snow and rain to everything else.

Bara Yoshitaka made his way into the bath house. He just loved coming here, it was the best place to hit on people, though he still got some of his bruises from last time he came. He slipped out of his pants and into the water, looking for his prey.

There he spotted a pale haka with white hair. This might be interesting. He made his way over towards the haka. "hey gorgeous"

Shinrei had been lost in his thoughts, but never did his face show it. Ice cold gaze turned, and settled on the flirty gehaka next to him. He wasn't half bad looking himself, and it rather tickled the fancy of the pale haka. Not that he would have shown it.

"...Rather flirty aren't we. What is your name?"

His voice was rather cold, as it always was, to match his gaze. Shinrei was never one to warm up quickly...or really to anyone.

"hehe, I'm Bara. And what does a cutire like you call yourself?" The bluenette asked, flashing a grin. He let his green eyes wander down the haka's slim body before he brought his gaze up back to Shinrei's face. I struck gold today he thought.

Bara sat himself next to the haka, eagerly waiting for an answer so that he can ask some more questions.

Shinrei watched as the gehaka's eyes traveled his body. One pale brow lifted. The flirt...Bara...hadn't even introduced his family name. Odd indeed. Bara was in for more than he could imagine.

"I am Mibu Shinrei," once again, the Mibu house hold was decently known in the area, even if it wasn't one of the bigger house holds. Though he wouldn't call himself cute. The voice was still cold.
