http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1401302769/102-5035206-9710502?v=glance&n=283155 It's the book that Hurley was reading, and the one that Jack burned before Sawyer could finish. It contains many clues to the mystery behind LOST.

Troup. I have a friend who shares the last name. And I didn't read the book yet. I should though.

I'm reading it. It stars a detective hired by the president of the Widmore company (which we know a little about already). there's some rather blunt mentionings of the Hanso foundation and Paik Heavy industries. stuff like he gets the wrong floor in the elevator and ends up in Hanso offices. "what is it you do here anyway?" stuff like that. it'd probly be good to read it if you're interested in soaking up every bit of info on the hanso-island relationships.

MeriThranduiliell Hurley was reading it? sweatdrop But yeah, I think I'll end up reading it. I do love me some mysteries. Yeah, but I can't remember when Hurley was reading it. Was it when he gave Sayid the new radio? ETA: Yes it was! It was in The Long Con! Thank God, that was killing my tiny brain. Also, would the ending necessarily be the same as the one they have? Couldn't they have an earlier version, or a later version? I wonder what Sawyer is gonna have to give Hurley to get him to tell him the end.

It was the same version, probably the same copy too, since Gary Troup sent the final draft to Hyperion Publishing just days before he got on Oceanic 815. Now, the questions are.... If Hurley or Sawyer sees one of the orientation videos will they say something like "Hanso Foundation.... sounds familiar..."? Does Sawyer know Hurley read it? Did Hurley finish it?

I am guessing he did, and then he gave it to Sawyer, who read it up to the point that Jack burned the ending.

I found references to the numbers in the Bad Twin. Zander's Passcode is 8-15-16 (relating to he was born on 8/15 and his brother on 8/16) they were born 23 minutes apart, and the hanso foundation is on floor 42 in the Widmore building. Anyone know what they have for 4?

It's believed to be written by James Patterson.
