Israel was curled up on the sofa hugging a pillow to her chest as she watched a movie. Well... stared at the television screen. She was thinking about things. Seeing Sora had been harder than she expected, but the evening she spent with Giani was still fresh on her mind. Looking down at the pillow and absently picking at a loose thread she wondered how Xel was doing. Sora had not seemed very happy with him about the whole flooding his room thing. Though she really couldn't blame him. Sighing lightly, she looked back up at the movie and attempted to focus only on it.

Xel sighed as he made his way down the hall. Everything was going all down hill. From the moment he returned to Aquila it seemed as if he couldn't get things together. It was bad enough Israel and Sora were no longer together, but flooding the poor boy's room was just not something Xel could live down. "So stupid." He'd been so stressed over the arguments with Isis, worrying over Aine, trying to keep up with Sora, screwing up on his finals and now this stupid a** letter his mother sent him from the grave. Everything was coming to a head.
Standing in front of Israel's door Xel absently held his chest, the pains had been coming more often lately dude to his stress levels. "Just keep it together man. You've kept me alive this long don't back out now." he said; oh yes he knew of the problem it was a well kept secret that he wouldn't devulge any time soon. Rapping lightly on the door he waited for an answer; the offending letter crushed in his fist.

Israel glanced over at the door and blinked. She wasn't expecting anyone and Saki had gone out for lunch. Pausing the movie, she unfolded herself from the couch and went to answer the door. Pulling it open a small frown of concern crossed her brow.
"Xel? Are you okay?" she asked, leaning against the door.

Xel gave her a weak smile reaching out to caress her cheek. "You worry about me?" He asked, it was a bit odd. He didn't know if he really looked all that bad. Perhaps he was a bit haggered from all the craziness. "May I come in Isis?" He finally asked again, stuffing his hand in his pocket along with the letter.

Israel noticed the wad of paper he shoved into his pocket and looked back up to his troubled violet eyes. "Of course you can," she smiled warmly, moving aside to let him walk in. She shut the door behind him and slipped her hands into her back pockets.
"Let's go sit on the couch," she said looking over at it then moving to go sit back down.

He took a seat on the couch leaning back with his hand over his face. A light sheen of sweet could be seen over his face, though he hadn't noticed. "How ya been doing lately?" He asked still not looking to her, his face hidden very well.

Israel kneeled on the cushion next to him and reached up to pull his hand away from him his face. Keeping his hand in hers she searched his face for a moment.
"Xel... you're really worrying me... Please? Don't beat around the bush," she said keeping her eyes on his.

Xel smiled down on her petting her hand. "I'm fine Isis..just thought I'd come by to..." he whinced slightly crouching forward and holding his chest. Don't do this not now...I'm fine. Damnit. He seethed in thought looking into beautiful yet worried Jade eyes he shook his head. "No I'm not fine." He said finally. "Isis I'm a royal ******** up! I can't seem to do anything right anymore..." he sat back taking in haggered breaths. "Stress...I'm too stressed."

A surge of panic seized Israel when he clutched at his chest and she sat up quickly and moved even closer to him.
"Xel! Calm down! Please," she said reaching up and running her hands through his hair. She shifted again and pulled him to lay his head on her shoulder. "You're not a ******** up Xel," she said softly, petting his long hair.

He chuckled in mock amusement. "Easy for you to say. You didn't ******** up the lives of the two people you care about the most." He stated. A moment of pause and he stood to his feet wobbling slightly but catching himself. He looked down to Israel a lopsided grin on his lips. "Here read this..." he said tossing the crumpled paper to her. He went to the kitchen helping himself to a glass of water before returning to sit down.
"Seems my 'daddy' isn't my biological old man." he said grimacing. "My mah had this damn thing sent to me from her grave. Post dated a month ago. What the hell?!" He glared at Israel but the anger wasn't on her or his mother. It was on the circumstances of the situation. "I got another man out there who has my genes. She sent him a letter too. He's probably reading it now as we speak." He muttered and sat back down on the couch. "I don't think I'm ready for this Isis." In more ways then one as he could feel his chest clenching. He did well to hide it despite his already pale face.

Israel caught the piece of paper he produced from his pocket and flattened it out. She skimmed it quickly as he ranted and looked up when he sat back down in front of her. Worry was in her eyes.
"Oh Xel," she said softly and leaned over to kiss his cheek softly. She wasn't sure what to say. She wanted to say something to make him feel better, but she wasn't sure what she could possibly say. "Maybe... it's not a bad thing," she said hesitantly.

Xel gave her a soft smile upon recieving the kiss. She always made him feel better... "Maybe not, I'm pretty sure I met the guy once..." Xel squinted his eyes. "Mah invited some guy over one day when everyone was gone. The way they acted wasn't like anything I'd seem dad do." He looked to Isis reaching over and bringing her to his chest. "I need you close right now. I won't do anything I promise." he said only brushing her hair from her face to kiss her forehead. He waited for her to get comfortable before continuing.
"That guy... if I saw him today I wouldn't miss his face." He said softly. "Only one visit. I don't know if mah told him then but I'm sure she wanted him to see me. Well this explains why I never felt right in that house." he sighed resting his head back on teh couch as he laid out. "One more annoyance on my long laundry list of stress filled fun."

Israel only smiled up at him at his promise. She knew what he meant. When he finished speaking she turned over onto her stomach to face him. Reaching up to gently play with his hair she smiled softly at him.
"Xel... you didn't ******** up mine and Sora's lives. You did ******** up his room... I'm not going to lie about that, but it's done and over with. This... new thing is something that obviously meant a lot to your mother. I know how much you love her, but she wouldn't do anything to hurt you Xelly. You shouldn't stress so much. None of it was under your control... except maybe the bath thing... but like I said... it's over and done with and Sora will eventually get over it," she smiled down at him. She leaned down and gave him another soft kiss on his cheek. She didn't like how pale he looked.

He hugged Israel to him as she spoke, rubbing her back as he listened considering his eyes were closed. "Maybe you're right but I don't like it when he yells at me. I feel so helpless when he's upset like that and I'm the cause." he said softly. He smirk came to his lips only to leave him quickly as a sudden pain shot through him, he frowned. "I know my mah wouldn't hurt me. I'm not mad at her about this, I just wish she'd have told me in person when she was still here. Now I've gotta face this man alone." he said. "Its hot in here Isis, can you open a window?" he asked though it probably wasn't hot at all.

Israel glanced over to the already open window and back down to Xel. She got up off of him and tugged on his hand.
"Come with me Xel," she ordered, attempting to pull him up to his feet. He looked like he needed a healthy dose of fresh air. Once he was up to his feet she dragged him over to the window and had him lean against the windowsill. "Stay right here Xel," she ordered again and went to get a dish cloth out of the drawer and dampened with cool water. She went back to him and placed the cloth on his forehead.
