I was thinking the other day that the four elements used by the general historical element systems are 'organic' type elements, and that people who are heavily of such elementa prefer organic surroundings.
In contrast, Lightning, Ice, Heaven and Shade elementa would therefore be inorganic and have inorganic preferences.
Then I thought that it might just be that the upper half of the Circle prefer the Inorganic whereas the lower half prefers the organic.
I fall just within the upper half, and I hate heavily organic surroundings, especially after the rain... makes my skin crawl.
What think ye all?

I tend to spend a lot of time inside but every once in awhile I'll want to go run around on a cool night (not cold, mind you) or dance in the rain. I hate the mud though and can't stand sloshing through puddles. Even when I go out to dance in the rain I make sure that my pants legs aren't going to get soaked.
I wouldn't really list ice as inorganic though since it's only another state of water. As for lightning, heaven, and shade, I wouldn't think of them as distinctly inorganic either. When I think inorganic I think man-made and those three are definately not man-made. Maybe organic elementa vs. energy elementa?

Ice itself is another state of water, but since our element is the cold rather than ice itself, in a way, it's still inorganic.
I know exactly what you mean now, though... I've observed this, but I can't actually figure it out... Things in organic surroundings follow the usual path of growth and decay. Neither of which I'm interested in, I suppose.
I love moss... don't mind mold... like algae... most rotting stuff, especially vegetation... ugh...

I like organic stuff...rotting laves..wet and damp and slightly musky. But buildings scare me... stare ...they are sterile.
*thinks*
Decay is good. It's gross in a satisfying way. 3nodding

I'm not sure exactly which form of decay I find distasteful. Rotting leaves aren't so bad... sludgy stuff isn't so bad either. There's a really weird in-between, however, that I can't stand.
It's that exact state in nature where it is too old for anything to eat, but not quite decayed enough to be considered compost for plants...
gonk Grossssss.

I like the smell of wet organic stuff... like wet grass and early morning dew drenched grass.
Perfect setting: the beach - the sound of waves, the feel of sand, the important shade of tree. Although, put me on a floating glacier alone in the Artic with creature comforts... That's home too. A mix of the two environments... Definitely.

When you think about it, anything inorganic isn't really an element, because we made it. Or do you mean living things. living things are mostly a mix of elements, usually three ways. Plants are earth water sun mixes, as we talked of in another post, and Humans are made up of earth water air. We need all three to survive. But if you meant inorganic as in artificial, it is also just a mix, only, tampered by the human view.

I generally don't like living things that aren't me or like me except for plants. I have no problem with sea and sand unless i start thinking about what's in it.And i have no problem with grass/trees until i think about what's lurking there as well. I can stand mammals and green geckos. I like the job ants do as long as i don't have to be around when they are doing it.
