*thinks* Oooooh.... I don't know.... I think it's a tie between Maduin and Tritoch. They're just awesome. Third would be Kirin. Regen is mighty useful.

The cuteness that is Carbuncle and the usefulness that is Phantom. Both are fine upstanding espers.

I was fond of Bahamut for the P HP max increase, and also because it's Bahamut! I also like Raiden for Quick, awesome spell.

My favorites are Tritoch, Maduin and Ramuh. They were the three espers responsible for Terra becoming so wonderful.
Maduin was her father, gaving her unique powers and the sense of not quite belonging, which we all know is a major cause of becoming an innocent capable of tipping the scale forced to choose between light and dark.
Tritoch freed her from her enslavement in Narshe, leaving her without her memories, alone and frightened. This gave her the chance to begin again and choose sides as an adult, rather than being a rebellious tool of the empire. Tritoch also awakened her esper transformation, allowing her to eventually regain her memories.
Ramuh cared for her when her when her mind was torn apart by the power of her transformation. Without him, she would never have been able to control or understand her innate powers, neither would Locke have found her in time to save her from herself and help her find the courage to continue their quest.

I'd also like to add that my least favorite is Ragnarock. Illumina (ultimate sword) is much more useful.

Crusader was pretty awesome. I have a little *too* much fun when it comes to "DEATH TO ALL!" type attacks that even wipe out party members heart sweatdrop xd
Hehe, the showy-er the better. KaBOOM! Haahahaha! *laughs like Kefka* Oh drat, now you got me started again! whee

Purasuma I'd also like to add that my least favorite is Ragnarock. Illumina (ultimate sword) is much more useful. Definitely gonna have to disagree with that one. The big blue expanding ball of death is loads more usefull, plus you can morph really interesting items. After going to one of those sites yeah Crusader is Jihad. I though that was interesting. That attack wiped out my whole party the first time I used it, then I learned the marvel of Fire, and Paladin shields. Setzer wiped out my party once also that b*****d.

Actually, just get the paladin shiled, instant ultima there and the illumina of darkness as well. Crusader is fun, and yes Setzer killed me with it too, but I'll use it for fun if I have the HP or life 3 to back it up. Alexander is the best one though. Best spell (pearl) and best looking attack and he has style in look and attack.

I haven't played VI in FOREVER! I do remember using Alexander and Phoenix (I think that's the name). They were awesome. I didn't use the Espers very much in VI though cuz it was the first FF I played with Espers and so I didn't really know what to do with them besides equip them to get magic. From the newer ones (mainly FFVII), I love Odin, Bahamut, Neo Bahamut, and the 3rd Bahamut... I also loved Kjata and Titan. I never got Knights of the Round, though. Oh! And Leviathan! Chocomog was cute, too... Okay, I think that's enough listing... I could go on forever.
