Rage felt Amelie stumble a bit and then them stopping. She believed Amelie was considering on what path to take next, Almost there... echoed in her mind... from Amelie no doubt, for where else would it come from? Rage's mind was cruel, not informative. Rage was beginning to indeed Amlie was perhaps a ...what did they call it here in this region? Seer...that was it she thought.

"Maybe she stopped because of me..." Rage thought inwardly in the back of her mind. If Amelie was indeed a seer, then perhaps Rage's echoes in her mind was affecting her. Her ears flattened against her head at this thought...even without knowing she could've been causing others' trouble.

They moved now, going towards south...towards that smell...salty, even more so then before. Rage tried concealing her thoughts in her mind, as if trying to not have them reach out to any that could hear or see. But that smell...what was it from? Water? She wondered where they would be heading, Amelie's direction changed now, perhaps she had chosen between taking he to the one known as Phib or another...a healer was it? She couldn't remember that well...but would a healer be able to help her?

Rage did not know how much farther would need to be traveled, her eyes still closed she tried to rest. So tired...but she couldn't fall asleep, what if she didn't wake up...like the others? Would Rage slipping away affect Amelie? Most likely, she couldn't sleep, not now, not yet. She opened her eyes somewhat, the sun meeting them making her blink, amber orbs watching the scenary pass by. Hazy they were, tired, but awake...alive.

Rage kept her eyes open though they fought to fall into slumber. Her body temperature kept shifting, she felt hot at one moment then frigdely cold the next, what was happening? So much confusion, but things would be alright...wouldn't they? Amelie was here...

A voice echoed in Rage's mind and she blinked and smiled faintly, Amelie's voice, yes, she would remember it so.
"Yes...awake, I'll try..." indeed she would.

Where Amelie was taking Rage exactly she did not know. She spoke of others before, but would they be as kind as Amelie? Or would they give her strange looks like the others she had encountered in her birth pack...she hoped they were more like Amelie...she gave Rage a sort of sense of safety, odd to explain as it was.

Rage heard a soft squeak release from Amelie, then a snort from her nose. A peculiar action, but it made Rage smile a bit more. Changed course again Rage watched peering around her. Smell of salt...elch. Very strange to her it was, made her nose scrunch up a little bit like the pollen from the yellow "doom flowers" (Rage had labeled them) just as she was to sneeze. But nothing came, jsut an odd scent was all.

She wondered if Amelie was able to do other things, or was affected by others things...being able to speak in another's mind was amiable, but would things affect Amelie's direction or thought patterns?

Rage was told many stories about Arguin, who was indeed both seer and shaman, and could be affected by thigns around him. Rage wondered if anything she thought or felt would affect Amelie...she didn't want that, not at all.

Rage then closed her amber eyes, she appeared to be sleeping, she was close to it, but would resist the temptation of slumber. She tried to calm her mind and body and think of something...something that would keep her mind calmed and have Amelie not worry very much (if it was possible). One thing could calm her mind, though Rage did not posess it anymore,
"Home..."

Though she had lost it Rage's mind flickered with calmful images of a grand lake, green clearings, ad wolves all around. Ones she could not distinguish now, they were different, not of her family...odd colors too. A new home perhaps she dreamt of? Quite possible for Rage, she wished to have a home someday again.

The old king presently found himself in the midst of a headache. Gareth was on his nerves- even though he hadnt spoken to him since that night, the fact that eventually he would have to made him angry. Didnt the boy have the backbone to come see him? After all, wasnt HE the grieving father? What curtesy did he owe Gareth? But Phib knew better then to get a call from him, and he had been considering going to see him. He and Mozelle- whatever the situation was between them, he hadnt figured out, and see what their intentions were. He wasnt about to have Gareth dragging Mozelle down into depravity either.

But other things were on his mind as well, and they were all feeding his headache. He needed to hold a formal meeting, for most members of his now large group were strangers. This wouldnt work for him. He was not one of those wolves who sat idly by and ruled from afar. He liked unity, and he liked his group to work as a machine. He did not like tangles, and he liked clarity.

With a low sigh, he flattened his ears and rose his body up, strolling the few feet towards the pond he had been resting by. Water from the hills had made it particularly cool, and it was welcomed now that they were entering the summer months. He drank from it slowly, his pale green eyes intent and considerate.

Phib?

At once, he flinched, and glanced impulsivly out of the corner of his eye. He had meant to tell her he didnt appreciate the mind speaking- but, then again, she probably knew that. It wasnt that he was afraid of the abilities- but he put value in spoken word. He didnt mind it. But he would have prefered to hear her voice. "What?" He spoke aloud to the empy air, and swished the end of his tail.

Come quickly!

Rage stayed quiet as she was carried carefully by Amelie. her stomach gurgled for a moment then stopped and faded away into nothingness, as if it never happened. What a situation to be in, least Rage was being looked after...it was nice to know that someone was trying to help her...help the one who thought there was nothing left...now her mind was beginning to think differently.

The times Rage had roamed from the valley after the smoke fermented through the air and covered the valley Rage had been on the run. She didn't stop, she found the exiting passage as quickly as possible and didn't look back, just kept running. In teh back of ehr mind she believed if she ran faster and farther away, she could leave the pain and loss behind her. Without stopping for food at all, only a few sips of water she'd be on her way again...running, even though her left paw ached and her heart beat unsteadily she pushed herself...perhaps too much strain on her body was why she was so tired...so sore, so weak.

Though now she wondered where she would end up next, fate was not dealing reliable and fair cards into Rage's hand, though she was dealing with life nad its uncertainties the best she could. It helped, that she was helping, that she was here...Amelie.

So much did her pelt color remind her of Nix, the odd silver gray color, the blue eyes, though blind, were still blue. Even though Amelie could not see as others did, Nix had also said a statment to her of how the blind could see Rage for who she really was on the inside, and now, she was beginning to think what Nix said was true.

Rage kept her eyes closed however, keeping her mind at peace, and breathed calmly now, still awake she was though. Her ears listened to the wind rustle the trees and underbrush around them, it even carried that salty scent. Rage tried to rest, she wondered if she would be able to walk anytime soon, her stomach gurgled again but she tried to ignore it, for onec in a time span she felt as if it was an eternity, she felt...
"Safe...."

She had an odd habit of worrying him to death. As if he had enough to worry about- these little mini emergencies only reminded him all the more that he preffered her by him rather then out ditzing around like she always did. He had been a bit lax about watching her as of late, for she was a seer, and had confided somewhat to him that she had a method for navigating in the woods. Something about bouncing off the different vibrations living things gave off- well, he'd be damned if he understood it, but she seemed to. But bah! Phib snorted, and changed directions at her sudden prompting. Couldnt she stay put?

I think she is sick, you should get Rio.

'Do you want me to come quickly, or get Rio? I can't do both.' Phib muttered to nothingness, but Ame did not answer him.

Nevermind that he had no idea who she was talking about either. Was Anya sick? Or Mozelle? Naib- wasnt that the name of the female Rio had come back with? They had all seemed fine the last time he had seen them. So what then was all of this commotion.

Come here then- Her voice squeaked.

'I'm coming, I'm coming!'

Rage was quiet while Amelie still padded along a path that wound in different directions, yet she seemed intent on getting somewhere, getting in touch with someone. She seemed focused elsewhere, perhaps communicating with another somewhere far off, or nearer, Rage did not know which. For she couldn't read minds...not at all.

What was that smell...something vey large had to omit something of that great a scent. Maybe water? Rage had heard stories of greater lakes over the land, but never saw any besides the lake of her home and the streams she had found on the way here. It was drving ehr a bit crazy at the moment.

She shook her head lightly, clearing her mind again, eyes still closed...so tired. Her ears twitched to the side listening, where were they off to? No clue really. Rage would just try to rest, and keep her mind quiet, as to not affect Amelie in anyway, if that was possible.

Rage felt like the shadows of the trees were lifted from her and Amelie as they now seemed to pad along slower, Rage opened her eyes, blinking a few times adjusting them to the light before looking around her. Golden dirt? Where were they...

Amber eyes then suddenly met blue, water....lots of water. It was rushing to and fro along this golden stretch of land...the smell of salt strong, was it coming from the water? Rage didn't see land on teh other end of teh water, it just seemed to keep going,
"What is it?"

Rage wondered in teh far corner of her mind. Something so large, how did it come to be and exist, wouldn't it be tinier, if others drank from it? Her mouth felt dry now, she wondered if it was cool and tasted like the mountain water, lake water she had lapped up before. Rage shifted a bit, just slightly, barely noticeable. Rage;s tail flicked one or twice as she felt a rush of wind come from the blue water mass before her. Such a sight to see...Nix would've liked it.

Rage and Amelie were more south now, Rage could barely see the outline of the mountains in this area. Did wolves really dwell this close to such a body of water? Most likely, it would provide enough water for several packs...wouldn't it?

Rage winced and closed her eyes hearing the voice of another, whoever it was...they sounded alightly aggitated. She felt herself being lowered to the ground, her body now on the golden dirt, she curled her tail around her frame and didn't move. She heard Amelie speak to whoever it was that had met them, Rage shivered for a moment before her ears perked up slightly and she raised her head to look up.

Amber eyes met the form of a towering black figure, wolf of course, larger than Rage had seen though. And his pelt was black...very black, just like hers, though there were no markings...just a few semi visible scars.

Rage ducked her head in between her shoulders and shifted a little bit, feeling a bit vulnerable under the shadow of this wolf...who was he? Amelie seemed to know him, and him knowing her. But he seemed angry...or worried, but Rage could not tell the difference.

A slight whimper escaped her throat as she scooted back in the sand, almost kncoking into Amelie's forelegs. She scooted back more and curled up behind Amelie's forearms and looked up at this new form. What was going to happen to her?
