Imagine my surprise... this Saturday's ep was on CN today! And according to TV Tome, tomorrow is... Bishop's Gambit? o_O They're totally skipping the rest of the dimension crossing stuff.
Anyway, spoilers ahead...
Don is transported to an alternate future where he has been gone for 30 years.
Mike has only one arm
Sensei and Casey are dead
April is the leader of the resistance against Shredder, who rules the world. Angel is one of her operatives (mentioned but not seen)
Leo is dressed like the Guardians
Raph has only one eye
Hun is in a wheelchair, and has Stockman's glass case thing grafted to his shoulder. They work for the resistance after they were saved by the Turtles when Shredder went to execute them.
The Shredder's patrol are the Foot Police, Utromiums (enslaved Utroms), and the Karai legion.
Mike is killed by the Karai Legion. Leo and Raph are killed by Karai herself, then she is killed by April. Shredder (his Oot self in the helmet of a HUGE robot) squashes Hun-Stockman with a single foot.
Don gets into an exosuit and fights Shredder. He finishes him off with an energy drill from a transporter that looks like the ol' modules from the Old School toon. The Shredder Utrom evaporates ala Cell in DBZ.
At the end, April and Don are the only ones left alive in The Shredder's Palace before Don phases out to go back home.

Wow! "The Same As it Never Was" was amazing! I absolutely LOVED it!! Wow! Mikey's voice was hardly recognizable as the same person, it was a nice change! And geez, the missing arm and stuff!! =0!! And I loved all the designs of the older turtles, especially Mike. XD
I only wish I knew what caused Don to leave in that dimension...
Today was NOT Bishop's Gambit, btw, they showed The Ultimate Ninja. o_O

I just saw that episode this morning. I thought it was really good! I wish I had the chance to watch more TMNT.

I couldn't believe it until I saw it this morning. surprised What an episode! Now, this is the kind of episode that gets me on the edge of my seat... the kind where "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em." It was a riot to see how Hun aged and even asked Shredder to be considered under his employ again... only to be squashed with Stockman for good! (guess you got the better end of our bet, Artue! xd ) Seeing the turtles grown up reminded me of the current Vol. 4 comics... and I believe there were a few references to the Image comics (e.g. Don as a "cyborg") and references to the Archie comics (e.g. Raph only had one eye). The Splinter scene was powerful, as was the scene where the 3 turtles lost their lives in battle. This episode may have set the standard in future TMNT cartoon production!!

ok, I watched it this morning. I'm ready to comment. 3nodding
I was left speachless......I know it was an altrenate dimanction....thingy but it felt like the turtles really died. crying ok I didn't cry but still! gonk
And your right Gohan it was really cool seeing Mickey like that, gives me a new respect for him. (ya, I had a different kind of respect for him before. xd )
And as for Donnie disaperaning for 30 years I think the creators of the show wanted you to think that because of the time choas that Ultimate Draco caused he never came back from the when he showed up and zapped everyone.
OH AND ONE MORE THING!! I'm totaly pissed now!! scream Not because of the ep it's because they arn't going to show a new ep next week! They didn't show the preview like they always do. How did I know they would cut us off and make us wait the ENTIRE summer to see the end of this?! crying gonk
