OMG! BEAVER!!!

Logan/Veronica? YAAY!

Weevil, poor Weevil.

Jackie? Being responsible?? You go girl.

Mrs. FENNEL? Back now? RANDOM!

And what was with that dream?

Vinnie Van Lowe!

I'm not that coherent right now.

"CW?" "It's a done deal" rofl GOTTA GET A SEASON 3!
PostPosted: Tue May 09, 2006 7:48 pm

First of all: I CAN'T BELIEVE BEAVER WAS SO EVIL. He always seemed so sweet, cute, and innocent.

I feel so bad for Weevil, dumbass Lamb couldn't even let him ******** graduate?

LOgan/VEronica are so cute together again!

I'm proud of Jackie being responisible for her mistakes. I second pupy's remark.

Mrs. Fennel was randomly back for like two lines, that's cool I guess.

Was the dream supposed to be life with Lilly still alive? Or something more?

OMG BEAVER. ::dies::

*spits in the beaver's direction* evil scream

Um guys.....Isn't Lamb dead?

i know there was a ton to take in and very little time to do it (I have to watch it again) but i thought Lamb took Keith's spot on the plane.

when Logan was kissing Ronnie in the hall i couldn't help but think "Yay all the slimy evil people are dead." xp

Just OMG at that episode. eek

edit;
Oh and why is it in a world where Wallace never meet Veronica, he wears glasses? neutral
Veronica makes him see 20/20?
PostPosted: Tue May 09, 2006 8:05 pm

OMG. OMGOMGOMG.

Damn. THAT was a shocker. Cassidy is evil. gonk

Haha, anybody catch the totally obvious foreshadowing in Veronica's dream? Where she kissed Logan instead of Duncan. Yeah. Yeah.

Oh, the graduation scene. So upset about Weevil. Was Veronica valedictorian, or not because of that last test? I was hoping she'd give a speech. And I was totally confused, I thought d**k was supposed to graduate too? Was he wearing the regalia in Veronica's dream? And I was totally confused at Mac graduating too, I thought she was an underclassmen. And Lilly was actually a year older than Duncan, which finally clarified that for me. Shows what I know. >_>

Jackie has a son?!
But boy I'm glad she was honest. And hopefully there will be more of Jackie and Wallace. In the next season. Which will happen. mad

Caught Woody! Yay! Oh man, the scene where Keith was standing in front of the plane talking to Veronica on the phone, I had a creepy feeling. Turns out I was right. I was so exhiliratingly glad he was not on the plane. But damn. What a way to go... and for some reason I thought Lamb was on the plane too and blargh. But why would he be in Reno?

Kendall and Aaron. EEEEEEEWWWWWWWW. And now Aaron's dead. Clarence Wiedman, you show up at strange times. At least Duncan got some satisfaction out of it.

And I wonder what was in the briefcase that kept Keith from meeting Veronica at the airport.

And Logan. Redemption? I love that no matter what, he's still there for Veronica.

And Cassidy kills himself. And that makes me sad, because even though he was an evil genius, he was still a cute, sad kid, and didn't deserve any of it. I wonder how d**k's going to react? And poor Mac. GEEZ.

Best hour of television. SEASON THREE. RIGHT NOW.

Edit:
Also, ew at Cassidy having chlamydia for a loooong time. And lying about raping Veronica.

Oh, and the plane conveniently blowing up behind Veronica's head. Nice touch.

I'm thinking it was part of the 8 million she just inherited. She's showing him all the money she'll pay him. For what, I'm not sure. sweatdrop

Have class early so this is what I have to say right now...HOLY CRAP! It was Beaver...um...I mean Cassidy. That was just genius! The whole thing rocked...there better be a seaon three! Oh, and I cried when I thought Keith died...not afraid to admit it. I love him and if they killed him off I think I wouldn't watch the show if they do have a season three.

V. interesting episode, although in the end, I had mixed feelings about it. That said, I thought it was good, exciting, and about everything a season ender should be.

What I didn't like:

- the whole Keith-may-be-dead thing. When he came back, I felt that moment that Veronica had was cheapened in a way. It seemed like a bit of a weird cop-out to show that yes, Cassidy is a bad-a**, and to add some more drama to the episode.

-did they really need to make the bloody plane explode? And why no mention of it afterwards? (And no, Lamb was not on the plane, so he's not dead. Keith just mentioned that Lamb didn't want him on the plane so that he could take the credit... so much for that idea. sweatdrop )

What I did like:

- Duncan, for the few scenes that he appeared. Liked him in the flashback, and liked him in the scene on the beach. Never thought he'd have the guts to order a hit on Aaron Echolls, but there you go. The fact that we actually find out who did it probably means neither CW (lovely sneak in) or Duncan will ever caught.

- Logan - for his caring and rescuing of Veronica, just like in S. 1. Not sure I like them back together AGAIN though. I prefer them apart, if only to keep the whole 'tragic romance' thing going.

- Jackie - her whole background was a bit of a surprise, but it's nice to see that she had an interesting one nonetheless. But really, she seems like such a throwaway character now, as I highly doubt she'll be back next season.

- Mac - *le sigh* Is this what she gets for dating a younger guy? So adorable, and I do hope that she becomes a permanent member of the cast next year.

- Keith - what is not to like about him? His expression when he found that Vinnie was calling him. His whole daddy-goofy at the graduation. Just, everything about him. ^_^

- Veronica - lovely scenes, well acted as always. Nothing wrong that I can think of, although she did seem to jump to the Beaver-did-it conclusion fairly quickly. Then again, she usually does jump to conclusions fairly quickly.... Interesting with the whole dream sequence too. Loved the alternate reality thing.

Mixed feelings:

- Wallace - at least he didn't leave Neptune for Jackie... sorta. I can understand the whole love thing really, but flying for Paris? Really?

- the actual wrap up of the season mystery. As far as I can tell, 99% of the loose threads were wrapped up. For all I know, 100% of them were. But I feel that we were led down this merry chase, only to find it was such a simplistic answer in the end. I think that Beaver could have been fleshed out a little better to give the audience a better understanding of why he did what he did.

That said, I am a Crim major, and thus do know that sometimes people have v. complicated plots in order to do something very simple. Still, it seems a little over convoluted to me.

Overall though, like I said, good episode. biggrin

Sorry for the long post.... sweatdrop

the dream sequence was one of the best ever. though I found it odd that Lily was included and she was looking at her memorial fountain, guess it was meant to be ironic or something. the other odd part was she played kissyface with Logan during the dream and not Duncan, yea what? too bad about their plans for New York though, guess Kendall was offering like all of her Phenoix Real Estate money for the job. but the big question which we won't find out the answer to until the debut of Veronica Mars on the CW is WHAT THE HELL WAS THE JOB?! and does anyone else have a feeling that the mystery job is going to end up being, or linked to, the mystery of season 3?

Beaver?! The culprit?! I always thought he was so innocent and cute >.< Plus he was touched as a little boy, how sad. And now he's dead. Poor poor Mac

I was so mad when Weevil got arrested at graduation too. And in front of his grandma

Hoo-rah for Logan & Veronica ^__^

And Jackie is a Mommy?! Aww but I feel bad for Wallice too

Aaron Echolls is dead now too I guess (wow so many people died or almost died this episode!) Guessing Duncan hired a hitman?

Oh yeah, exactly what was in that suitcase that would make Mr. Mars ditch Veronica o_O

Bah!! There has to be a season 3!! And if there isn't, I'm going to be mad that they left us at a couple cliffhangers. *sniff* I'm going to miss V-Mars for awhile...Sooo when's season 2 out on DVD? xd

I loved Kyle's performance - he did evil seriously well. But. I really think it would have been better if he hadn't been so damn evil. I mean, seriously, dude was giving Aaron a run for his money. Aaron being that way made sense, since he's kind of campy in general, and he'd go for being really evil. Plus, we had his batshit moment earlier in the season when he beat the tar out of Trina's boyfriend.

In fact, I think one of the best parts of the roof scene is when Cassidy's about to jump off the roof. This whole thing was caused by a lot of pain, and you didn't see that in the rest of the scene. Although, maybe it stood out more because of the way he acted.

I think the problem is that Beaver is fundamentally a sympathetic villian. There's just no getting around it. So when he acts so extremely, it comes off feeling weird.

Clarence! Dude, I was so shocked by that! That was my favorite part. And then Duncan! Teddy! Aw, yay. I liked seeing him for the little bit we did.

I about died when I thought Keith was dead. I kept wishing and wishing and saying to myself, "But he's the best TV Dad ever! He can't be dead!" And then he wasn't and I was SO relieved. Like, seriously, it was like a weight being lifted.

Poooooor Mac. Oh, my heart broke. Poor baby. Please come back next year. Seriously? My second favorite scene.

Also, damnit Lamb! God damnit! You couldn't? You couldn't wait like ten minutes? Seriously. Poor Weevil. This whole episode was just trying to kill me.

bhr915 - I'm thinking it has to do with Cassidy's business venture with Kendall. Was he shady like his father?

Spyke Darkwing - The odd part of the dream sequence where Veronica kisses Logan instead of Duncan just shows who Veronica really loves.

Tsunuffy - Yah, Cassidy just exuded evil, definitely not like Aaron at all. It was mind-blowing the extent Cassidy took for his revenge.

Also, I wanted to mention my intellectual disgust with the way Veronica tried to warn Mac about Beaver. Oh, my God, so STUPID. YOU DO NOT WARN IN THE VOICEMAIL OR TELL HER VIA TEXT MESSAGES! BECAUSE THOSE WAYS CAN BE INTERCEPTED! Which, we'll note, they were. You tell her you need to speak with her NOW. That it is URGENT. Hell, lie and say her brother was in an accident or something. Seriously. We do not want to tip our hand to the potentially violent person.

I was thinking about it, and I think that this finale would have played better if they had revealed, actually revealed, that Cassidy was the third victim LAST episode. That would give us time to have our sympathetic reaction to that. Then, this episode, we would have been more inclined to be angry at him for the murders and for raping Veronica because we've already had time to sort out our reactions to his trauma. Also, if they would have shown us earlier that Beav was an ends justify the means person, that would have helped.

Did this episode seem to never recover from the fuzzy, washed-out feel of the dream sequence in the beginning to anyone else?
