I believe it is safe to say that love is the embodiment of morality as a whole.
Love can be good. It can be the light in your day...the only thing that keeps you going. Your power and will to live...It can be your "extra life", the idol of inspiration and happiness. It can be creating one body of two people...the ultimate fortress. The strongest structure must have support.
Love can be cruel. It can be the darkest path. Your temptation, destruction and distortion. The truest thing can be the perfect thing to tear you apart. Love is so dear to you that you hold it close....but aren't the closest things what we should fear the most? Think about it, Love can be the ultimate weapon....the key to unlock all your deepest darkest secrets. And then, whenever that love fails...it has the power to crush your soul entirely...
It is a balance between the two that makes love what it is. We strive to make all relationships a part of the "good" category while an unknown force always tries to turn things for the worst.
Things to think on.....

I think you just wrote the defenition of love very accurately, and I don't think many could upstage that.... I worship your skills.. 3nodding

Thanks a lot, I actually just took that from a thing I wrote on MySpace in my school's forum. Some people were arguing whether love was good or even non-existent. So, I composed that. It seemed to fit pretty well, as love has treated me both good and bad in the past and I have some experiences to build on...

I agree with that, although due to some random information from friends and of course past relationships, my darker side is always telling me that maybe love is just something to help people sleep better at night, and of course, a natural way for human beings to carry the race on as a whole, a form of natural feeling that inevitably draws a male and a female together.

i think that Chris' theory is very true and makes the most sense outta all the theories people have come up with. Love can be really bad sometimes(trust me, i know) but it can also be so good and happy.i've(as most people) have seen both sides of love and even though sometimes it feels like you'll never find it again...it finds its way to you....
so for those of you who have lost all hope of ever finding love again....hang in there...it will come.
