Have you ever thought that maybe in the Harry Potter books Voldemort and his deatheaters are like Hitler and the Nazis?
Think about it:
Voldemort hates mudbloods and wants to get rid of them
and
Hitler: hated Jews tried to get rid of them.
They both want/ed to make a pure race of humans...

yes you have noticed what j.k rowling what you to see.
she fashioned voldemorts hatred and his ways of hatred after those of the holocaust
she said how voldemort hates all mudbloods but will only kill those whom have at least a grandmother whom is muggle.
then hitler hated all jews but would only kills those jews whom had at least a grandmother that was jewish.
this is believed because there are many rumors that hitler was at least 1/8 jewish and that his gradmother or something was basicly a whore and slept with a jewish guy and had his dad, then his dad met hsi mom and had the -.- :extreme sarcasm:: wonderful bundle of joy named adolf:end of extreme sarcasm:: so he would only be like 1/8 or some i'm not like getting mathmatic, because i suck at it.
but the funniest part about hitlers life and it's relate to the holocaust is that growing up and into hsi adult years his best friends were jewish. (proof)
historians have found like letters and crap to them, but no one knows if hitler still had them killed int he holocaust of if they were able to escape.
uh... there is other stuff like hitler had parkinson's desease which is why he pushed forward so quickly with the holocaust and ww2, because back then having parkinson desease was basicly telling someone "oh your goin die"
^.^ i'm just a bundle full of information aspecially on the holocaust (have studied it for like lots of years since liek 5th grade i have.. i'm in ninth right now)

i heared something about Dragon Ball Z and it's connection to the nazis.
i don't really member all what i read but i member one thing- they have a teams and they names was SS and SSG or something like this.

Dragonball Z has nothing to do with that lol. They protect the earth and they go Super Sayan, or SS when they get stronger. (ANIME ROCKS! biggrin )

I have to agree with Silverah, Hitler is more evil simply because he was real. Voldemort is a scary fictional villian, but he is still fiction. However, you are right: the similarity is there. You could even compare the Death eaters with the SS, and that would make Draco Malfoy and company the HJ.
My history class is studying the Holocaust right now. It's kind of weird- I'm the only observant Jew in the class (we have one secular Jew and two 'half-Jew's.) Talking about all of this, I seem to know more than my teacher, and it affects me much more obviously than anyone else.

Kiashana I have to agree with Silverah, Hitler is more evil simply because he was real. Voldemort is a scary fictional villian, but he is still fiction. However, you are right: the similarity is there. You could even compare the Death eaters with the SS, and that would make Draco Malfoy and company the HJ. My history class is studying the Holocaust right now. It's kind of weird- I'm the only observant Jew in the class (we have one secular Jew and two 'half-Jew's.) The only stuff he doesn't know is the random questions kids pull out of nowhere, which I answer. My problem is how others in my class react to all of this. So many of them just don't seem to get it, you know? It may not have affected their people, so what? They could at least show a little more respect than they do, instead of complaining about how gross the movie we watched was! And the film wasn't even so bad. Nothing that graphic, 'Schindler's List' is definitely much much worse.

The Grey Zone is more graphic. at the beginning it tells how this one man had to burn his wife's, daughters then her two daughts dead bodies and in 20 minutes his whole family was gone. then he tried to kill himself with poison, but the nazi's wouldn't let him die, they made his heart beat again. but then the people in his little house thing sufficated him with a pillow.. made me cry for like 15 minutes. the holocaust just effects me differently than my friends, I take everything in so deeply, and it hurts me so much.

I love that movie whee it was the first holocaust movie i saw, i saw it when i was so young i don't think i couldn't read the title (mind you i didn't fully learn how to read till 4th grade) but i think i was in second grade. I love the movie, even though I wasn't old enough to understand the full impack of it, but i got the basic message, that hope can get you through alot of things.

'Cause if not, they should fire his a**.
