what is st patricks day about? i really don't know it sad
i know most holidays, cause i get free from school blaugh but i don't know this one, anyone can tell me what the story behind it is?

From what I heard and gathered...some crazy a** dude chased some snakes out of Ireland and he got real famous and declared some nifty things like the Shamrock as part of the Church's trinity...and each leaf of a four leaf clover (of which he was the first to discover) represented a attritbute like luck or the sort...and that kissing the Blarney stone gives you the gift of eloquence. That's my education of St. Patty's Day!
