Squall Leonhart = The main charcater of FF8. He often refered to as a lone wolf. He doesn't really like to tell others how he's feeling. His weapon is the Gunblade.
Rinoa Heartilly = Kind of like the oppisite of Squall, Rinoa is sweet and usually speaks her mind. She can be very difficult to deal with at times and won't take no for an answer.
Quistis Trepe = She was their teacher. She always tells Squall that he's predictable and finishes his sentences to prove it. She's pretty tough and harsh as a teacher.
Zell Dincht = Hyper and Funny. Zell is always seen jumping around like he has worms or something, and usually waiting in line for one of his favorite foods Hot dogs.
Selphie Tilmitt = She's a spunky girl who always speaks her mind. Now she'd probably be the exact oppisite or Squall. Happy and friendy but not afraid to take charge if needed.
Irvine Kinneas = A sniper from Galbadia Garden. He loves women (Mainly Selphie) and is usually seen following the girls of the team.
Laguna Loire = A kind and sweet person who just loves to help people. (Don't ya just love thoes kind) Mainly seen in the dreams Squall and the others have.
Seifer Almasy = Former member of Balamb Garden he leaves and becomes what he calls the "Soceress' Knight" He's good friend with Raijin and Fujin and loves to pick on Zell calling him and chicken wuss.
Edea = The Soceress, she fights against Balamb garden. (I don't want to give too much away if you haven't played it)
Ellone = She is a kind and sweet girl who cares about Laguna.
