So if you would take all your favourite horror movies, take out the top five of them and put them in an order from 5-1 (5 beeing worst).
Which movies would their be?

5 - Chucky
Yes the doll (not sure which one), even thou its more of a comedy then anything else it still has put a scar in my soul. The reason is that when I was around 5-6 years old I accidently turned on a channel with that movie on, and I saw a doll running around with a knife trying to kill someone. I was terrifed and had a problem with dolls since then!
(yes you can laugh now)

4 - SAW II
Thriller crime and horror mixed up in a way that I personally love, the reason I love this movie is becuase its smart. Not reallt scary but very smart, with story twists all over the place which keeps you intrested un till the end.

3 - Interview with a vampire
Even thou not surley a horror movie it still has some of the theem going on. I love this movie, its truly a great story that keeps you in your seat thru the whole experiance.

2 - Night Of The Living Dead
Such a classic movie! I love it so very much, even thou its old and in black and white I still love to watch this movie. One of the first zombie films out there and it surley deserves a spot in every horror loving persons shelf.

1 - The Eye
A japanese movie that should be seen by all horror lovers! And now I mean horror movie lovers, not people that love to jump up and down and see someone running around with a knife/axe/saw for 30 minutes. This movie gets under your skin and terrifies you from the begining to the end. A masterpiece!

1. The Haunting- Original one, of course. I've literally been watching that movie since I was 2 and I still love it! My all-time fav!

2. Freaks- Wierd but good.

3. The Ring- Although, new, it was pretty scary when I saw it for the 1st time...

4. Poltergeist- Always a classic in my eyes.

5. Night of the Living Dead- Classic zombie film. It's only on 5 cuz I'm not much for zombie flicks.

1: A Nightmare on Elm Street-I'm sure we'v all had Nightmares as kids and they seemed prety scary. But what about a Nightmare that you will never wake up from? A Nightmare on Elm street is a absalout Classic horror movie with a sinister villan that is menecing in every way, chasing you and toying with you before brutely killing you in your sleep.

2: Hellraiser-Another Classic. An origional story line with great effects for the time, plus some genuinly creepy demons; the Cenobites. This is a gore filled movie with much magic and pain along the way. Plus one of the scaryest horror villans of all time; Pinhead. With his Infamouse line "We'll Tare Your Soul APART!".

3: The Shining-An awsome book transformed into an equily good movie. This doesn't rely on alot of special effects, but it dose have a genuin psycological fear aspect with the chilling and mesterious story line, with alot of resemblance to the book with some awsome acting by Jack Nicholson playing "Jack Torrence". He genuinly looks like he's going Insane as he chases his family round the mansion hacking through everything with his axe. And with one of the most well known line of "Hears Jhony!" as he smashes through the door.

4: The Texas Chainsaw Massicar (Origional)-Another Classic. This may have been low budget, but everything they do, they do well. The scaryest thing about this movie is, it could happen to you! A group of Teens set out on a Road trip, but end up running for their lives against the insane Leatherface and his family. What this movie lacks for in overall amount of Gore, it makes up for in it's acting. Leatherface is dangerouse, yet child like. And the thing is, you can't get away from him! He's not like the Mummy where everyone barley runs away faster that walking pace. Even if your running at top Speed, Leatherface just comes after you with the sound of his Buzzing chainsaw behind you. Necrophiliacs beware! Theres a new kid on the block and he slices the living aswell as the dead!

5: An American Werewolf in London: A Sort of Comedy/Horror which set new grounds for werewolf movie. 2 American Freinds hitch Hiking in the English countryside, one of them mauled to death by a werewolf and the other only just surviving. This movie has some awsome special effects and a calssic story with a unique sens of humour that you wouldn't expect to find in a werwolf movie. How many other horror movies would you find a kid running up to his mum and saying "A naked american man stole my baloons!". This movie provides chills and laughs with an awsome transformation scene.

1. Freddy vs Jason- Who else would what to see two of the horror icons go at each other.

2.Doom- Its not really scary but the creatures are sure to kick you in the a** on the way out.

3.The Thing- I mean really deformed things popping out of your body that's awesome.

4.Nightmare on elm st- Old school but still a classic, short sweet and to the blood.

5.Ghost Ship- Very interesting on a ship inthe middle of nowhere with ghost in every corner...sweet.

Your two posts were made within an hour and forty minutes of each other; it's not like everyone who is registered in this guild read what you posted within that time period and would have been utterly confused if you went back and modified only two choices on your list.

5. A Nightmare On Elm Street- A horror classic, this one scared the crap out of me like nothing else when I was a kid. And for the longest time, nobody could watch more than the first half hour with me. It's my favorite horror movie, and in my opinion the scariest.

4. Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives- I love the Friday the 13th series, but this one is my favorite out of them all. This movie gave us a newer, tougher Jason. It wrapped up the saga of Tommy Jarvis, and included some awesome tunes from Alice Cooper. He's Back made me an Alice Cooper fan.

3. The Lost Boys- There's a lot of vampire movies out there, but this is one I can watch over and over again.

2. Silver Bullet- If you ask me, this is the best werewolf movie out there. the Howling was good too, but this one just had that extra something.

1. Evil Dead II: Dead By Dawn- I saw the first two Evil Dead movies when I was still in Elementary School, and I always liked this one best. I recently watched this again with a friend of mine, and at one point she screamed so loud she scared me. rofl

I'm gonna take my top 5 and turn it into a top 5 horror/genre list. It's too hard to say this horror movie is better than that, because how do you compare a vampire movie to a werewolf movie?

5. My top werewolf movie is Dog Soldiers. This movie was ******** great. We have a pack of werewolves holding a unit of militarymen at bay in a farmhouse....it just doesn't get much better than that. The wolves looked good, the transformation wasn't the best but it wasn't so poorly done that it took away from the movie.

4. My top vampire movie is Near Dark. This movie doesn't get a lot of recognition, as it is ws heavily overshadowed by The Lost Boys. (Which cme out at the same time.) The dialogue isn't superb, but there is something to be said about a pack of redneck vampires cruising the states in a stolen winnebago. Plus it has Lance Henriksen...how ******** cool is that?

3. My top slasher flick is probably The Hitcher. Rutger Hauer's hitchhikng murderer terrorizes ET's best friend in a game of cat and mouse down a stretch of desert highway. There isn't much to say, the tractor trailer scene will probably scar you for life, and you'll never again be able to look at a truck going down the highway without thinking about it.

2. My favorite zombie flick....man- this one was hard...The original Dawn of the Dead. True, Romero's zombies are slow. One on One, you can be alright..but in a world where the dead outnumber the living 10 to 1...good luck. This movie had it all. An empty mall- who hasn't dreamed of that?- an apocolyptic world where survival is all that matters, and Tom Savini being ripped to peices....it just doesn't get more fun than that.

And finally..........

1. I'm not sure how to characterize this film, it's not really a slasher- not below the surface anyways.... Hellraiser. This movie explored the human spirit and what life really comes down to- desire. It enentually lost sight of that when they tried to make it about Pinhead, but it didn't tke long for them to get back on track. But overall, it's a pretty superior series....except for number 8...I hate that ******** movie.

Ah, yes, I accidentally read the wrong post.

Still there's no real reason to spam the guild by constantly making new posts to notify people of changes you want to make when you can just edit posts. Heck, if you want to let people know that you made edits, leave a note within the post.
