I think I'm a perfectionist...XD I was wondering how I was gonna explain Go till I realized, "I'll look it up!" That helped a LOT. XD Yeah, if you want good pictures. Haha, I didn't add one of Touya Meijin just because I couldn't find a good picture.
I know what you mean. -pats-

I really liked Hikaru no Go. I first read it in my friend's issue of Shounen Jump and I instantly loved it. But then she gave me a free DVD of Hikaru no Go. She got it in one of her Shounen Jump issues, her being not so good with technical things she thought it was a PC game and didn't want it so she gave it to me. mrgreen The english voices scared me... expecially Sai's...

blazing_angel: Haha. I haven't read volume six yet either. I don't think I even realized it was out...
Airichan: XDD I like the English voices. Except I wouldn't mind if they changed Kaga's voice...;-; It's kinda sounding like him but... I mean... It just doesn't WORK! I like Kaga's Japanese voice better.

The first time I heard of Hikaru no Go was when I was reading an article on Japanese pop culture. The game was only popular to older generations, but thanks to it, younger generations enjoy playing it. I only saw the anime from a few friends of mine.

.//I had played Go before the mana/anime came out (I only read the manga) and was looking up rules for the game (since I hadnt played for a while and wanted to again) and happened upon stuff for the manga. That got me interested right away. Most people that I know dont like it since they find it slow and usually have no idea what the characters are talking about when they are playing/discussing the game.
But I think it is a good idea to make a manga like this and get younger generations interesting in this game.

I've heard of it, but I've seen or read it. I might check it out, though, because the premise is really unique. I like stuff like that.
