i like the TV series, but the old ones were good too. exept for "batman beyond" that was a stupid show.

Batman on TV got really stupid. 'The batman' took out the fact that he was a detective and all the 'dark' parts, especially his wuestionable morality thing.
Why did they do that to him?

I suppose to make it more children friendly. Rubbish though. Still, the reallt old Batman show was wonderful, in a truely awful way- holy flying pigs Batman!

ninjivitis I think everyone likes Batman at some point in their life. At some point in their life and at some point in _his_ life. Batman has been through so many revisions and reconceptions that there is a version to appeal to a particularly wide audience. Just like hokey special effects and a laugh? There's Adam West. Like Batman carrying a gun? It's in his first year. Like deep explorations of ethical dilemmas? Plenty of that in the books over the years. Me? Batman Begins particularly appeals to my sense of philosophy & morality.
