Let the Bone Man run this down for you about Steroids
Steroids are a medicine that enables you to sorta go past your limits (physically), it supposed to be taken in small doses so nothing happen you gotta realize that it is not used for muscle gain, but it gives you an extra "edge" (n.p.i.) for working out...too much of it can give you some s**t like big muscles (e.g. Scott Steiner) or s**t like that, anyone that wanna elaborate on this...

Basically what the Bone-man said. Taken in large amounts they do increase the size of your muscles, but the downside of that is it takes up the room occupied by other important parts of your body. Take your arteries and veins for example. While taking steroids, there is an increase chance of blood-related risks such as a heart-attack, stroke, increased bruising, ect. Steroids also can do damage down in your groin area, especially for males, where the risks include sterility. So by taking steroids, you boost up your peaks, but loose your soldiers in the process. 3nodding
