The doting 'mother' of the family had slipped out from the Mistweaver land's, an aggrivated look on her face as her dark ear's flattened against her skull.
Her children and mate she could handle, but old memories of her past and 'friends' she had left long ago, she could not escape and personally nor did she wan't too.
Even if she had domesticated some, during her time with her family and giving birth to four cub's. That wild and blood thirsty spirit of her's had still not quelled and cooled.
She had even tried to kill a small cheetah that had crossed her path to calm her fire.
However it was these time's, she wished she could see one of the few friend's she could tolerate. The God of Chaos himself.
As she lay on a smooth stone overlooking the golden grasses of the land's outside the Mistweaver territory. She couldn't help but wonder what he was up too.

And Dath could grant that wish, unknowingly.
After leaving the graveyard, he had found himself near the lands of the Mistweavers. Strange, why has his paws led him here? He never had an interest to enter these lands, never cared about what when on in there. It must be all those damn trees, just too many to really feel comfortable in there.
He stopped suddenly, once his eye caught something...someone. Laana. He froze, and just watched her, as she seemingly didn't notice him....yet.

The female lay there, half tense, half calm as she lost herself in thought. Thinking of the old time's and when she'd killed first zebra, so eager to impress the God of Chaos. A small chuckle loosened her maw, however it was dark, devoid of emotion, like the good old day's.
However as the wind changed direction, the scent of another soon caught her delicate nose and in an instant she seemed to explode from her calm position into the snarling, ferocious feline she was.
But it was only when she turned to face her 'opponent' that she saw it was none other than the one she'd been thinking off. Her wrinkled snout vanished and her bright red eye's watched the red and black male.
"....Dath?"

Well well, still fiesty as ever.
Dath slowly made his way towards her, obviously doing his best to act as he always had. Sure of himself, deadly, and all that fun stuff. His night-black wings were folded against his side, his horn piercing into the sky as he held his head high. One wouldn't be able to tell what he did just days earlier, and he'd never tell a soul. Ever. Especially Laana, and his sister.
He drew himself up in a comfortable distance from Laana, not quite wanting to be next to her, not yet. She seemed...different. Not just in her physical appearances, but emotionally, too. He felt like he could sniff something....something that he just wasn't too sure of.
With his deep voice, and somewhat cautious tone, he spoke her name.
"Hello...Laana."

The lioness didn't know what the say, but she was deffinatly surprised and quite pleased to see him. Her ear's perking in semi curiousity as she drew a metre or so closer and sat within watching distance, looking him over once.
Laana gave a small, evil smirk, like she always had done around him as her red eye's watched him.
"It's a surprise to see you again...but my how you've changed...you've become the God I'd always imagined you'd be." She said sincerely, watching him as her tail gently flicked back and forth.

Dathcharu'kai grumbled at her preening comments. She wanted something, he could just tell. Though he didn't know what she wanted...
He sniffed, and flintched. She had done something, something that made him feel all the more uncomfortable. Of course, he wouldn't show it. He picked at his teeth instead while his head swarmed full of thoughts.
"So, Laana...what have you been up to since I had last seen you?"

The lioness watched him, only to pause before her ear's flattened back against her skull, bright red eye's lowering as she contemplaited her next set of words rather reluctantly. Only to give a small sigh out through her nose and then looked back up at him.
"...If you must know...I started a family." She said, watching him for a reaction as she sat there.
She had always had a strange friendship with Dath and had always said there was no way, she would've ever had cub's. But now that she had. What would he think?

Dath just had to wrinkle his nose at that. A family?
"What ever possessed you to do that, Laana? You never seemed the type to do that." A flicker of disappointment flew through his voice. A family?
His mind couldn't help but wander just as to whom Laana actually gave herself to...

Laana's ears remained flat against her skull before she gave a small graceful shrug of her shoulder blades, bright crimson eyes watching him.
"I wanted to continue my blood line...it seemed logical...and it's better then dieing alone I suppose." She sounded slightly unsure of her word's, but watched him none the less.
"What about you?...what have you done since parting?"

Dath's snake-slitted eyes glared at her coldly, strangely feeling betrayed. That's it?? That's the only reason she really gave herself away? For her bloodline? Dath didn't like how she said it, not at all. He didn't trust a word she said...but now knowing the situation, he didn't know anything else about it, and as such, kept her words as the last on the subject.
"I have been finding my way around the lands...harassing the rats of the Pridelands, mostly, and finding a few loners to shake into belif of gods." Dath grinned. Sure, he was sweetening it up a bit, but who wouldn't? Life was a boring hell, in all truths.

She felt the cold glare and mentally shook it off, only to smirk at his words before rolling her crimson eye's a little.
"Lucky you...atleast you didn't have to put up with childbirth...honestly, I am never going to suggest having cubs to my daughters..." She said, almost lazily while she watched him.
Laana felt slightly, uncomfortable, talking about her cubs to Dath, she didn't know why. She just felt she'd gone behind his back slightly.

Dath flicked his tail in annoyance, but didn't say anything. She brought it all on herself, stupid females. Stupid mortals, doing things for this...'bloodline' crap. He didn't understand, and probably wouldn't, not for a while, but he might never understand. He had never had that urge in his loins.
Laana was probably the only mortal that he mildly cared about, and what she did strangely felt like she betrayed him. They had done things together...nothing 'romantic', per say, but still, Dath had never spent so much time around one person, not even his own sister....
As all these thoughts clamored through his mind, he calmly just watched Laana, wondering just what she was thinking about. Awkward situation if there ever was one.

The lioness looked off slightly, Dath was one of the first people she had really considered to be a friend or comrad and they had shared many times together.
She could even remember the time when he watched her kill her first zebra...ahh, the blood splatter from that. It made her lips curl in that blood lustful smirk that was always so ever present on her maw in those times.
She then looked too him and her ear's rose atop her head to hear his next reaction to this, sensing the anger from him and his body posture.
"Have you found a mate?" She asked, out of pure curiousity.

Dath gave out alittle huff, something that he would of done when he was just a cub. "I though you'd know me better then that, Laana."
His pride was more important then another. I mean really, he was a god. He had to be proud. Teach mortals who were boss. Of course, he'd done that with Laana, but...he probably wouldn't push her around so much now. That would be childish.
His eyes lingered over her for a moment, before her turned away. "Obviously you have though, if you speak of cubs."

Laana's ears flattened slightly, a small smirk coming to her at his childish huff. Probably the only time she could silently poke some fun at him and live about it.
But she meant it all in the sake of fun.
At his question she took a small breath and slow exhale, bright crimson eye's watching him as she sat before him.
An old friend and feeling like a traitor for not telling him.
Then again, would you admit you had no choice but to stay in another one of your friends home after being attacked by a rhino?
"Yes, I do."
