Getbackers and Saiyuki are two of my All-time favorite Anime shows and/or manga. I was thinking, Why not make a fic out of it? Here are some reasons:
1.) The characters are so alike, Think: Ban is kinda like a 2-in-one package of Sanzo and Gojyo, While Hakkai has the same smile as Ginji who has the same hunger as Goku. (Who'll win in an eating contest?)
2.) Practically the entire youkai population in Saiyuki is going after Sanzo's scriptures (and throat). So...What if the scriptures got stolen? Who'll get it back? (Obviously, Sanzo would, but what if it got too difficult?) DANDADADANDADA!!! Ginji and Ban!
3.) Gojyo could finally get a real non-yaoi love interest in the person of Hevn or Himiko. XP
4.) I already started on it!
I'd love ideas! Please don't hesitate to give me some!

blaugh I think Kougaiji would be more likely to resort to calling for Ban and Genji, THEN they'd be up against Sanzo and Goku. rofl
Jackal rox! Heeey, what if Jackal met the Sanzo-ikkou, or the whole cast of getbackers met the sanzo ikkou and tried to stop them from getting the scripture? xd
...
Of course that would mean noone is the bad guy and I'm getting ahead of myself... sweatdrop

Umm, actually, Sanzoikkou goes on a vacation to Japan and the scriptures get stolen. sweatdrop (Didn't you read the first chapter?) And yes, (WARNING: Spoilers!) Kougaiji follows them. I don't know if I'll let Jackal team up with them or not...Sounds cool, though. Kougaiji and Jackal vs Getbackers and Sanzoikkou...

Well, I'm already working on the second chap...The first one was from Sanzo's Point of View, so the second would probably be from the other party's...Ginji! But...as always, I still need more ideas. sweatdrop

The second chapter is already up! Whoohoo! The story is still here at this link.The third chapter will have an eating and drinking contest! Whoohoo! Just one question: Should it be from Hakkai's view or Goku's view? Edit: The third chapter is already up. And it's from Goku's view. Kougaiji finally makes an appearance.
