i was planing to do suicide. in morning i was think of it then i was going through some of my uncles thing in like a daze and i found Warning ang i heard Blood, Sex, and Booze and i was like oh s**t. i have a conection with them that if i didn't have i would be dead before i was 12. there songs make me feel that thoughs do have some of my probs.

It hasn't saved my life but it's saved me my sanity. In their songs I can feel the same emotions that are going through me and that helps me calm down and stay sane.

it has helped...but not the amazing ways that it has helped all of you above me.....
but i think that they have helped me speak out more about how i feel and not let myself be walked all over by other people....

That's so amazing, really.
It didn't save me from suicide, per say, but many suicidal thoughts day after day.
And Green Day also got me to be able to stand up for myself and not care what people say/think/or happen to believe.

I've had them pretty much save my life, sanity, and my phisical/Emotional being....My mom was a total B.I.T.C.H.

soon enough My Grandma, Hampster, Cat And a few of my Fish Died, I wanted to die...I listend carefully to "Boulavard Of Broken Dreams" I Memorized it, sang it and soon after I felt, Somewhat, sain again (My Mom Still Drove Me Insain) And didn't want to die any more.
But probably, no one cares cuz They're too Busy off in La La Land! So I Guess I'll Check Back Later And If no one cares I'll just go STFU and FOD...

that's exactly the same with me!! whee
It hasn't saved my life,
but it has certainly shown me a better way
of thinking and acting.
I hate to say this,
but I used to care what people thought of me.
But after listening to Green Day,
I realised that I should be whatever I want to be,
dress the way I want to dress,
listen to what I want to listen to, etc.
And if people don't like it,
or hate me because of it,
then they can go ******** themselves and get a life. ;D

They haven't saved me. I don't have any kind of a heartwrenching story about how Green Day stopped me from killing myself or how I heard a line and just had to step back and take a look at myself, or anything like that. First of all, music in general played the role of preventing me from getting anywhere near being in danger of killing myself. Music and writing. But Billie Joe's gotten me writing. When I first heard Holiday... when I first really heard it, understood it and all... it drove me to writing my first poem in a long time. This was last year. Since, I've written dozens, no novels or novellas, but it certainly got me writing. And I have to say, that's definitely helpful. I don't know exactly how much of my writing can be attributed to Green Day and how much is just the product of eventuality, but... there are a number of bands, shows, magazines and other media which I have become interested in on their own, which I would never have known nor cared about were it not for Green Day. So yeah... I guess you could say they've helped me...

Okay... I'll go now. nobody ever gave a damn about me anyway, well, accualy my boyfriend dose, but other than that, no one cares, and you Know what? I AM THE JESUS OF SUBURBIA OR AT LEAST I SHOULD BE! At least I'm not tempted to plung in the knife and kill myself...Trust me, it hurts...(I did that before I saw "Jesus Of Suburbia")
