Let's say Sonic Adventure 3 is coming out *it is design like SA1, NOT 2*, and you had a choice of unofficial sonic characters to put in it. Who would you choose?
I personally would choose Bunny Rabbot. I think she'd be a great addition to the team. What do y'all think?

Bunnie is a cartoon/comic book character, with no relation whatsoever to the gaming universe. The majority of Sonic fans in Japan probably haven't even heard of her, so sticking her in a new Sonic game would only really appeal to the western audience, chiefly the comic book fans (predominantly the American audience).
Not to mention having Bunnie in the game would also force the gaming universe to introduce other comic book elements such as roboticisation, unless Sonic Team just decided to shove the poor girl into the game without any real explanation for her bionic condition... Actually, that wouldn't surprise me.
But still, you'll never see any characters created by Sonic's various western liscensed universes appearing in a game. But while we're living in this pleasant land of fantasy, I'll make my nomination.
I want to see Captain Plunder in a game!

She would considered a new character to the japanese audience *like Shadow and Rouge were in SA2*. I think she could easily become a favorite. I also think it might be a good idea to revolve the storyline around the robotisized animals *isn't that what the first 2 games were about?* But alas, it is fantasy land and every oppinion counts...

That game was produced by Sega of America, NOT Sonic Team. They were trying to promote the comics at the time. If Sonic Team had made that game, not only would it have been much better, but the comic book Freedom Fighters and robots wouldn't have had an cameo in it, because, as I already said, the Japanese wouldn't have had a clue who these characters were. And of course the comic has to include game characters. It's a liscensed comic that exists purely to promote a game series.

Pushing such things aside, this is just a "What if" topic anyways. No need to take it seriously.
Truly though, what other unofficial characters would work in a game such as Sonic Adventure? The only other one I can think of is Monkey Khan, but that would just be weird! sweatdrop Yet The Monkey King legend is rather popular in Japan, it might work somehow. I'm not sure I want to know though. whee

Let's go for the most obscure Sonic comic character ever and choose Larry Lynx! *waits for people to go "WTF"*
Or what about Hip and Hop from Spinball? I think those were their names...

I was thinking that they could give Sally a ray gun or something and that could be her personalized move, but I just saw the preview to the Shadow game and I'm not so eagar about the gun...

If I'd had the time, I'd have said before I left that this seems to be strictly a hypothetical, based on whatever freak events would let these things happen. smile As far as the Archie universe goes, I'd actually've chosen Bunnie, too. It's not just because I like her character (although I do), but she's the only member of the Archie FFs who already comes with a set of distinctive personal attributes and attack moves that'd translate well to a game setting. As well as standard Sonic character attacks, she can do karate. She has functions like her "ladder legs". She does have firearms, although I don't think we've seen her use them yet. The only problem I could see with Bunnie would be transferring her to the universe, where robotocisation doesn't exist. She'd need a new or adapted backstory. As far as Fleetway goes, I can't honestly say that I can see any of the uniquely Fleetway FFs translating well to a game scenario. Porker Lewis (a leather-clad pig) was a tech whizz who did his best to avoid violence, Tekno (a canary in a stripy sweater) was brains rather than brawn, and characters like Johnny Lightfoot (a staff-fighting rabbit) and Ebony (a sorceress cat) had abilities and styles that fit a beat 'em up or shoot-'em-up more readily than a Sonic title. From Fleetway, I'd have to dip into the villains. Specifically, the over-the-top one-shots, who were generally based around single puns or attributes, and had traits and attire to match. At least it gave them an immediate identity and a unique style. Someone like - strictly for example - The Leaf (a petty thief dressed in a giant leaf costume, who used gliding to escape) might've been over the top, but at least you immediately knew what they were about.

I think itd be cool to see Sonic in a crossover of universes game...I mean with a bunch of other characters from othe games....
Like for example the Chaos emeralds were sent into alternate realities...
Tales of Symphonia, Kingdom Hearts, and possibly DBZ....just not those but a bunch.....
Like a Sonic RPG! I think that'd be neat.
