Ganon swept through the sky, Hadus below him. The coastline curved beneath him, beach giving way to cliffs and back to beach. He swooped low as he came to a group of rocky cliffs, circling to look for the nest in question. Hadus would know an abandoned nest when he saw one.

Hadus did indeed. His eyes fell on a clutch atop a pillar of rock connected to the rest of the cliffs only by a thin natural bridge. The only evidence of parents was a week old already. "Ganon. There." He pointed and carefully flew low beside them, watching out for ferals. Ganon landed a moment later, carefully stepping up to the nest and picking up two eggs. Hadus held one in each claw, and the two looked around for a moment before stepping back. Hadus slid back into the air and Ganon carefully took flight. He had to stop, though, at the top of the cliffs. Getting altitude in air that dead was tough, and he'd need to catch his breath before trying to fly back.

Hadus glared down at the Euro, then swept down and handed his two eggs off to Ganon, who carefully placed them on the ground with the others, where he could protect them.

Hadus leapt back into the sky and growled, facing down the European. He returned with a growl and several gestures, trying to convey that they were simply passing through the territory. He knew it wouldn't work, but he had to try.

Ganon raised his claw and slashed a quick pentacle symbol in the air. The symbol suddenly expanded enormously and solidified, forming a dome-shaped shield over the nest. Ganon leapt away from the nest, taunting the feral and luring it away, trying to escape into the trees where the kyn would be forced to fight on the ground.

Hadus raced after the Euro, trying to head him off. Unfortunately, the European could work with, rather than against, gravity while falling. He was substantially faster than Hadus, who had to direct himself to fly downward. He hissed softly, dipping down to the ground and preparing to cast an illusion. A moment later, he cried out as though in pain, appearing to be near-mortally wounded by the edge of the cliff. An easy target for the smaller European...

As the kyn neared him, Hadus suddenly swung his serpentine body around, swinging a coil around the feral. Hadus grinned and dropped the illusion, digging his front claws into the ground and swinging his body around the edge of the cliff in an attempt to slam the feral face-first into the rock face. If he should succeed, he would pull the dragon up onto land and make sure it was unconscious.

Ganon stepped out of the woods and cast a few spells that muzzled the European, blunted his claws, and bound him tightly. He sat down to rest for a bit afterward, and finally stood. "Right... Hadus, you take him, I'll carry the eggs."

Hadus quirked a brow, turning his head a bit to look at Ganon more closely with one eye. "You sure you're up to it? I could carry the eggs and you..."

"But then you couldn't carry him. We need to take him back to Aedan before he gets hurt." Ganon lowered the shield and gathered the eggs in his arms. He had trouble holding them all, and eventually relented and allowed Hadus to carry two. Hadus wrapped the middle of his body around the feral and slid smoothly into the sky. Ganon spread his wings and jumped off the cliff, catching the air and flapping until he caught a thermal. They sailed back over the land toward the ranch.
