okay...i just thought of this and i actually dont really know why im making this thread but you can talk about the villains of watase-sama's series...you can say how much you hate them, how much you love them (hehe) and dont forget to justify your opinion 3nodding it doesnt have to be the main "villain" of course. it can be...lets call em "sub-villains for now" lol...like some of the seiryu warriors, the maram masters, people involved in the c-genome project...you get the point sweatdrop
the "bad guys" of her manga and often justified in the end (did erika yanahara? sweatdrop ) uhh...i just forgot what i was gonna say about that too! xp but yea, dont forget to vote (getting 10g? why wouldnt you want to...oh man i got a bad feeling about putting erika in there lol ) and i think ill start this off...
my top 4 hated
1. erika yanahara
2.shiso/kagami mikage
3. nakago
4. mayura seno
shiso and erika are so close together that if i think about it really hard i dont know if i could choose xp aack, sensei why do you make everything so indecisive?? so mayura didnt bug me a lot...except for the whole mudoru brand thing...nakago..i feel kinda apathetic towards him for some reason sweatdrop and...yea, thats all my opinion for now sweatdrop ive only read the manga releaseed in english so far so...can't really say much for zettai kareshi, oishi study...etc etc redface
PS, for the people i put in the poll...i really just based them off the stereotypes of villains...you know, against the protagonist really is all i did sweatdrop so for people that became good at the end...im sorry! if anyone can tell me that i should delete so-n-so from the poll thatd be ok 3nodding

I like Erica the least. She was just annoying, and weak on top of that. So yeah, I didn't like her. Even at the end, when she tried to "make it up" to Koki and Tanpopo, I didn't like her. The two suicide attempts completely killed any hope she might've had for me to like her in the least. Oh, well, not a big loss for me. All the rest don't bug me so much now, but I will admit I hate the fact that Nakago lied so much to Yui. And the people in the "C-Genome" project all annoy me. It's not the fact that they're doing tests using test subjects. It's the fact that they're going to use their subjects to take over the world. Oh, and the fact that it strikes me as stupid that they're selectively breeding them as if they're horses or some other domestic animal.

Nakago kicks all sorts of a**. However, I don't think i can forgive him... ripped a hole in my heart with all those unnecessary deaths.
the others all suck, but I hate/love Nakago the most out of them.

I don't really have such a big hate for any Watase's villians (for some reason, they dont annoy me much =P). But I really do hate Miaka, Tamahome (*is killed by Tamahome's fans*), Tooya - the one that I hate the most stressed stressed (*gets cut to pieces by Tooya's fans*) and Soushi.
Reasons of why I hate them:
Miaka and Tamahome/Taka (specially Taka):
Here is en example of their normal conversation
Miaka: Tamahome...
Tama: Miaka...
Miaka: Tamahome...
Tama: Miaka...
Miaka: Tamahome...

Maybe the fact that I watched the AnC anime instead of reading the manga makes me hate him even more. He's just too perfect that it annoys me. He's so cold and serious that it annoys me too. And Aya falls in love with him for no reason. stare

...well, erm...yea sweatdrop *cough*me=tama&toya fan*cough* but i can still understand what you're saying 3nodding i never really liked how aya and toya fell in love either...its like, "oh my hero, you're so hot and you saved me! lets make out heart " really, during that part in volume 2 of the manga i got a bit annoyed when they started making out in his apartment...i accept them as a couple now though
i have yet to read zettai kareshi crying (thats where soushi, riiko, and night are from right?)

In a couple of the cases- the ones I have copied- I don't see precisely why they are considered villains:
nakago- Sure he was out for number one, but look at his past. He was the Emporer's lap dog because of a character on his forehead and the power he held. He may have left a path of blood, but if he didn't, it is hard to say what the emperor of that land would have done.
yui hongo-She was manipulated to believing Miaka was the enemy. She even admitted she probably wouldn't have pursued Tamahome as hard as she did in the end if not for their friendship/ rivalry that some friends have.
mayura seno- Like Yui, she was manipulated. She was pulled into the darkness by Alice's words of bitterness. Yes she did put a curse on the guy she supposedly loved, but she realized in the end that Alice's feelings were genuine and she loved him more than Mayura ever could.
I don't know much about Kagami and Shisho because I am trying to read volume four of Ceres, but am not in the mood for it and I don't know Erica/ anything about Imadoki. So I went with Darva. Darkness in the purest form.

I fell that Nakago was the worse, but then again i can't remeber all the other villans names, or who they were. HE JUST WOULDN'T DIE!!! Then aftyer that blow during the battle Soi jumped infromt of him, but that was sweet. She really did love him, and he did honor her memory. So.. i guess he wasn't so bad. Does anyone remember that scene from Nakago's past where he went into the emperors room and his herm was teasing him, then i think you see him later in a bed half naked... i believe maybe that was the scene. It's been 3 years since i've seen Fushigi Yuugi.

It's been 3 years since i've seen Fushigi Yuugi. In my opinion when it comes to the Seiryu Seven, it took a while to realize they weren't all vile. Ashitare- for killing Nuriko- and Miboshi- for his acts, including possessing Chiriko- were the worse. Yes, Nakago did have some cruel acts, but the scenes in the manga where he was explaining what happened, did soften the blow slightly for his acts. I haven't seen the anime, but the way his treatment was depicted in the manga did actually solidify some feelings toward him. And I have done it again. Talking about a character like they're real. But that is one of the things I do like about Ms. Watase's work. She makes many of her characters feel real, even after the arc or story ends.

out of the most...i hate erika with a passion. she tried to break up koki and tanpopo....which got me mad!! THen when they don't break up their so called friendship, then she tries to kill herself....she went over the line. But no....she had to break them up again, then kill herself again...but fails. I hope Yu doesnt make another chara. like her again!!! domokun
