I recommend taking a trip to your local dealer to try a few out that are within your budget. I'm not keen on acoustic guitars so I can't voice an opinion.

I've heard good things about Takamine guitars. I'm assuming you are wanting steel string. If you are looking for louder, and electric-acoustic would be a good way to go. Plug into an amp and you are pretty good.

Well firstly ask yourself are you buying an acoustic, or are you looking to buy an electric?
Then you must decide how much you want to spend on a new guitar, and depending on your budget you should be able to find yourself a decent guitar. 3nodding
Talk to your local dealers, they should be able to help you out.

She said low budget so that should be something like a Yamaha or Epiphone (As much as I don't like the brand).

jelly_bean_queen17 ok ... so i've got an electric and i have an acoustic (HOW do u spell that) but it's way 2 small so i need 2 get a new one ... anyone recomend one?? I would have to have a price range. personally acoustic guitars u can get good ones at pawn shops . If you can find a Framus they are really good sounding guitars. But you have to go to pawn shops to find them. Ibanez are good and there are other good guitar companies if u go to a pawn shop and checked what they have . If u find a martin for sheap they ar kick a** guitars and same goes with fender acoustics Ibanez are descent to. You could always try the beay approach but Im hot a big fan of muying off ebay for guitars.Whatever goes foollow my tips and ull be fine.

Well I have an Ibanez accoustic electric, I've played Washburn accoustics and I thought they were pretty good. They have had good reviews, but they aren't cheap. I agree with the other guys on this, check out a local dealer play a few and see what you like.

i'm in the same boat... but unfortunatly its with both guitars. my acoustics really small and its got this weird fret buzz thing going on. and my electric is pretty nice except i can't play it around people cause its pretty much an antique (1968 heit... sorry about spelling) and it was my dead grandfather's which means my mother is way protective of it.
wait for sales and stuff. or try working at music places where you can get discounts (thats my plan).
good luck

If you are looking for a cheap acoustic you cannot go wrong with Yamaha, everything they make is good. If you want a bit more expensive, you can look at some Martins, and if you have a lot of money, check out the Gibsons.
