We had a decent thread going on this topic before it got so inconveniently removed during guild cleanup sweatdrop (Nothing against you, guild mods ^^ You were just doing your part to keep the guild nice and tidy.) Well, let's see if we can revive this lost conversation xp
I shall make this an open discussion topic 3nodding Post facts, theories, or questions about energy leeches and we can all discuss and debate to try and fully understand this odd natural phenomena. For the sake of simplicity I'll leave out topics that were already discussed unless someone questions about them. The following are things that were already explained, but at request I can re-type out the information for you from memory as best as I can ^^;;

a vampire/vampyre?? confused
I know a few of them...
they say when standing next to someone who's hyper the person will slowly drain of energy and then the person will get more energetic...
some vampires/vampires need the energy to survive because they say theoretically they have a hole int heir auras that leek energy so they need or they don't have enough energy to go through-out the day...
they also say if they put up a shield that they don't steal energy sweatdrop

Goody, I like it when someone doesn't use the word "Vampire" for psi leeches. It's kind of silly when someone claims to be a "Psychic vampire" and worry about going to church...
I think that leeches are people who are born with a little less energy then the average person, when the body recgonizes it, it starts adapting and start taking the energy subconcously from something (Or someone) to keep the person... Alive and stuff.
As for shielding, I think if you program it right, you'd get enough protection.

I think there are two types of energy leeches where people can consciously do it, or subconsciously.

After all- our emotions and energy are directly connected to our psi/ki/chi/whatever you wanna call it biggrin However these leeches don't die when they can't have energy. A human live without energy, however they'll lose their emotions. In a sense they biologically live and spiritually die 3nodding And yes- you can put up a shield. But some people who learn to manipulate energy can learn the trick to steal energy. I actually know the basic idea to the trick, but I've never successfully done it sweatdrop Conscious leeches are much more dangerous 3nodding Because since they steal energy knowingly, they can take alot more. Also- if they're stealing your energy and know it, they're probably mean people xp

I don't know the exact method used by subconscious leeches, but I know that it's similar enough to the method used by conscious leeches that it can be blocked with the same trick 3nodding
A conscious leech will first create an orb of energy (a psiball for those of you who like technical terms =P). From this they extend a "spear" of energy to pierce your aura. Once they've attached their own energy to your in this manner, they create little energy thread things with grab your energy and pull it into the spear. Once your energy is in the spear they can just pull it into the orb. They do this, adding more and more of your energy into the ball as it grows steadily more powerful. Then, once they're content with the amount of energy they've drawn, they absorb this ball into their body.
The method used by subconscious leeches is a little different, and I don't know all the specifics. They still use a "spear" of energy to steal energy from you, but their method somehow allows them to directly gain energy from you rather than putting it into a ball and then absorbing it from that.

Run for your lives? xp Well, actually, consciously stealing energy is very bad and you shouldn't do it since it can be extremely dangerous. Keep in mind that people's energy is connected to their emotions. If you take all of someone's energy they don't die, but they become emotionless. Energy takes a long time to be regenerated if people don't know how to absorb energy from their surroundings, meaning that you might cause someone to go emo for weeks if you use this trick on them xp

I actually have a friend who's a subconscious leech so I have a great subject for studying them xd But I can't know how their tricks work exactly since I'm not doing them confused I'm just witnessing the results. I tried to do the third eye technique once around my friend to see their energy but something about their leechy-ness screwed up the technique xd When I looked away from them I could see energies just fine, but near them was a field of staticy stuff. Not like energy, but like- randomness. I have two theories-
1. She was leeching power from my third eye whenever I turned in her direction
2. The methods used by subconscoius leeches somehow involves quickly and randomly moving energy ninja
More likely number 1 xp
If you have any specific questions I can attempt to answer those. I can't really think of what to say xd

ok, so they are attracted to a focused energy point? does that make you more at risk if your focusing energy or something like that?

Keep in mind this isn't proven yet, but is both very likely and would explain some odd phenomena that have happened around energy leeches 3nodding
