Okay, here's my problem.
I'm well aware of the fact that pregnancy takes away your favorite sleeping positions. I can no longer sleep on my tummy (my fav) cuz I'm squished.....can't sleep on my back cuz I'm squished.....can't sleep on my right side because the little bugger likes to take kidney punches in the middle of the night.
So here's my questions:
How in the world does anyone get any sleep while pregnant?? gonk

Two body pillows and a pillow between my knees.
I found I could "sleep on my stomach" by propping half my body up on a body pillow, So I was sorta sleeping at an incline but face down.
It was the most comfortable for me since I had SPD and my hips and knees would lock up and actually make nice popping sensations when I tried to roll over if I slept on my side.

crying Very carefully at times. Just wait until the last trimester when you start sleeping so lightly that anything wakes you up. I haven't honestly slept much since my first tri, so I understand the frustration.
Have you tried using pillows yet? Like surrounding yourself in them or using one to elevate your legs? In my second trimester when I had similar issues, sometimes it helped to take a nice warm soak in the tub. Relaxing myself like that helped me fall asleep despite getting the begeesus kicked out of me. [mine's always preferred cervical shots rather then my kidneys. EESH]

Yeah, I'm about as far along as you are and it's starting to get to that lovely point. My booger tucks in on the side I'm trying to lay on. I bought a REALLY big and fluffy body pillow and I put a regular one behind my back. Even still, it does take some work to get to sleep.

With my youngest I spent many a night in my oversized recliner, with my toddler sweatdrop . It was the only place I could get any sleepat the end.

I've bought two body pillows that I tuck one behind me and the other one around me. And while yes I go to sleep, its the most restless sleep ever. I toss and turn and wake up all ngith long.
The only time I seem to get any bit of good sleep is when I fall asleep on the loveseat, but then I'm away from AJ at night, and I feel selfish going to sleep in the living room, and he's in the bedrood when we fought so hard to have our schedules work so we'd be together in the evenings.

I'm just up all the time to use the bathroom. I try sleeping with pillows, but I think we just need to get a real matress. We're sleeping on a futon.

I suddenly feel extreamly blessed to be a heavy sleeper! I really havn't had too many problems getting sleep until quite recently (I'm 32 weeks). I wake up to switch sides because my hips are hurting, or I have to get up to pee of course, but I don't have any problem falling right back to sleep.
The pillow between my knees has been my saving grace in helping me get enough sleep. Without it, my pregnancy induced Restless Leg Syndrome wouldn't even let me think of catching a wink.
Before I even found out I was pregnant, I'd have these weird nightmares all the time that would wake me up and then I didn't want to fall back to sleep. But as soon as I discovered I was pregnant that ended (thank god!).

What's helped me sleep is less pillows under my head and a body pillow to cuddle up to, it helps support my belly. Also ever since I've had more iron and protien in my diet I've been less restless. Music also helps ^.^
