I'm in a desperate search for a job (because my stepmother threatens me with Summer School if I can't find any) and I plan on getting a 360 this summer.
Am I crazy or no?

Nah, I'd say it's a good decision.
Here's an idea. Find a hobo. Harvest his organs. Sell them. THen you should have enough to afford half a 360. 3nodding

There's a shortage of hobos around this place, though...I don't think I can just go up to one. Most likely, he'll have martial arts training.

WEll, you are getting it at a good time, I can tell you that. A bench of great titles were released in the past few months, and this fall a LOT of great titles will be out as well. Enchanted Arm, Too Human, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Brotheres in Arms etc.
Plus, the 360's are out of the broken stage and are becoming readily available, so you shoudl be good to go.

I plan to get one eventually.... but I want to wait till I hear a definitive comment from microsoft about the whole HD-DVD issue...... IE are they goign to release an updated console with the HD drive built in or are they only going to offer it as an add on
so I would not say it is a bad idea
as for raising the money, all I can say is work as much as you can and spend as little as possable..... I am havign similar financial problems saving up spendign money for Anime Expo

I need to get a job first to have a job.
It has been so hard for me, though...
