Ismet Name: Ismet Origin: Turkish Blend: Eastern Indigo SnakePersonality: Grumpy and antisocial. That about sums up Ismet, seeing as how he hates interacting with people. Not to say that he's shy - he's very vocal about it, though he seems uncomfortable with actually insulting people. He prefers to simply avoid them, and has an unfortunate tendancy to let himself be pushed into doing things by others. Specifically, babysitting.
Asides from that, he's actually a rather scholarly boy; probably to do with the fact that there isn't much to do asides from read, if you spend all of your time alone. He shows a strong interest in the sciences, but reads many different topics.
Likes: Books, being alone, Hadrian Dislikes: Dacian, toddlers, the cold Quirks: He dislikes wearing many clothes. Hence, the loincloth.
Skin: How many children have scaly blue skin? And those red markings look almost like flecks of blood...And of course, we can't forget those glove-like hands, almost tinted red. Hair: Such pretty white hair! Of course, there's the fact that most children don't have white hair, but still... Eyes: Snake-like yellow eyes with red pupils. Somehow, it suits him.

Meet the Family! The mages: All three of them are technically his guardians, though of course, Ismet does have his preferences... Hadrian: Probably Ismet's favorite of the three, for the sole reason that he doesn't force him to be social. And of course, if he needs something, this mage will take care of it at a decent pace. He's a very reserved sort of person, who tends to keep to himself. Obsessed with his work, hardly ever sleeps or eats...that sort of thing. Seems more like a scientist then a mage. Recently, after becoming 'involved' with Marc, he seems to be coming out of his shell a bit. ( Appearance - semi long black hair, pulled back from his face with a pony-tail holder. A monocole over his left eye - which was apparently damaged a long time ago - his eyes being green. The man is surprisingly short, being only 5'5, and with a very slender build. He's obviously not the athletic sort.) Ahneta: More like the mysterious aunt then a guardian, Ismet only see's her occasionally. She's often travelling, procurring funds...and he has his suspicions about exactly what she does. He's even met one of her business associates before. (Hesitant appearance - curly black hair, falling to mid back. Her eyes are blue, but they're not what attracts most of the attention...what does is the fact that she - well...to put it lightly, she has a very nice, curvy, body. And likes to show it off.)Dacian: Ah, the hated one. Ismet despises Dacian, for the simple reason that the man is too cheerful and too social. Essentially, this man is the complete opposite of Ismet: and he doesn't even seem to realize it. This mage is the one who seems to befriend almost everyone, with very rare exceptions. Ismet being one of them. (Hesitant appearance - short brown hair, blue eyes. He's a very simple sort of person, so he doesn't go for showy clothing or anything like that; he's most often found in (of all things) jeans and a t-shirt. And looking more like a gardener then a mage, to the amusement of Ahneta.

Friend or Foe? Ismet met this little girl when she was just born, and was honestly a little leery of her. She's one of those little toddlers afterall, and children are grabby! Even though she seemed to like him quite a bit... I hate toddlers. I haven't met her since she grew, but I don't care. She was drooly and gross then, the only difference will be a bit less drool. Maybe. ] Ismet's interactions with this little girl are typically that of baby-sitting, since y'know...his favorite guardian was dating her father. He hasn't seen much of her lately, however, what with Marc's disappearance. Again, I haven't seen her since she grew. She wasn't that bad, though...Ismet only met this boy briefly, and didn't get much of a chance to form an impression. He's too colorful. Gives me a headache...In reality, Ismet is unsure of Gavin; he's a brat, but he did help him get out of class. The brat I have to sit next to in class. And he's too noisy.

Picture Album The scary little energy that was Ismet... The only image of his toddler stage that he has not destroyed...grumpy looking little guy, huh? Just wait. It'll disappear sooner or later... And now he's grown up to be a prettier, just as scary looking child! He's amazingly pretty, but amazingly grumpy looking

Mages The mages themselves seem to create some relationships as they go along, and these will be documented here. So far... Ahnetea: ...has met some of the guardians, and seems to regard most of them with amusement, Dacian: ...has met all of the guardians - he's the friendliest of the mages - and enjoys everyone's company. The children are all adorable, too. Hadrian:...has met some guardians, and hasn't met others. He's been even grumpier and more aloof then normal, ever since Marc disappeared.

Mailbox Hadrian's Letters naeodin ((inlaid in gold, and whatnot))
Hadrian,
She has a name now. HAKI. Take care to use it properly, she gets extremely agitated with nicknames. Although I don't understand how you could shorten Haki any further?
And if Percival (that is one name I would like to change) calls you for an appointment, let him IN. He's going to be redoing your flat, and I think it's better if you have some idea as to what he has in mind.
He almost did mine in pink. Screw fashion, I'm not that flexible.
It's all covered already.
Marc. Aletea *The letter - more a note - is written in a slightly messy yet clear handwriting. The writer seems a bit annoyed, however.*
Marc,
I'll put her name into the files.
Why are you having my apartment redone? I'm never there. And I don't recall you asking me about this, before...
-Hadrian naeodin ((same ornate paper. Except the writing is less legible. Hmmm... maybe Marc employs someone to write his notes for him? This must be his own writing.))
Hadrian,
When I go away on business, do you honestly expect me to leave Haki alone?
And I don't think we know each other well enough for you to spend the night at my place.
Marc Aletea ((*The writer's typical script, except that he blatently ignores the comment about spending the night at the other's place*))Marc,
I'm certain that Dacian would make a far more suitable babysitter then me.
However...if I'm not busy when you need someone to watch her, I will. If she causes any problems though, I won't watch her again.
-Hadrian naeodin ((the same illegible script))
Hadrian,
I guess you won't be spending the night then?
Marc Aletea ((*The writing is very stilted, even with as little written as there is. The writer
seems to have absolutely no idea how to respond to this.))
Marc,
...no.
-Hadrian
((>.> That's probably the last of this little series of letters between them, but it sets a good
precedent XD)) Dacian's Letters Baniru Dacian, Thank you for introducing me to the gardens! I have a favor to ask of you. Osha seems to really like love the gardens, and I have to go away every mon, wed, fri, and some weekends to tend to my home away from the compound. I'd bring Osha with me, but I don't think he'd be safe okay in the city with my other problem child... He's too young little, and I want the best life for him. Please babysit and watch over him while I'm not around. Who knows, maybe he'll become a class A gardener!-Baniru Aletea (the letter has very loopy handwriting, but is very legible.)
Baniru,
Of course I'll watch him! It'll be fun having my own little gardener-protege. I'll be sure he doesn't get in too much trouble! ^.~
-Dacian
