Pfth. Me, a procrastinator?
5th of May Started to set up journal. And Haki has grown! Oh sweet, she's gorgeous... and come on. You know she's plotting.
15th of September Lots of time has passed since then! I've stopped transcribing arpees to the journal. It takes way too long and makes it look busier then it actually is. Also, I know I'm missing some-- because I did a few through YiM, involving Haki and I can't be bothered to put them up. >.<
28th November Sorry for the absence. Nae is back, and ready to start retaking charge.
12th December Nae sent in the growth form. Because she can.

Vanity Reasons
Souls A pink ball of...floof. Marc freaked out when he thought his son would be emerging from a ball of pink, and then decided that it must be a phase. Of sorts. Or something.
Toddler Marc thought that Haki was a very pretty boy... but she soon set him set! Still, she is pretty, and somewhat disgruntled. And damnit, Marc's going to make sure she grows her hair long this time! D:

The conniving sweetheart

Appearance Really cute. Short cropped blonde hair and bright green eyes, she's small, pale, and adorable. And other then her father, no one else has made the mistake of assuming she's a boy. Damn it, you don't get eyes like that and a smile like that on a boy... unless, he's got issues. And Marc would certainly never take in a boy with issues.
Always smelling good and looking clean, she has no choice really in what she wears. Thank heavens that although Marc does, it's his stylist that dresses her. Both have decided to go for the young and innocent style, following the tradition of the pink lace! So much of the time, white, pinks and soft yellows can be seen in her wardrobe.
However. She has developed a fetish for long sleeved high necked dresses that look like old fashined night gowns, and a layer of lace over her hair.
And before you make the bride joke.
She pinches. Hard.
Personality At first glance? She's a cute, innocent little girl who you just want to hold and cuddle! [/godmode] But she's deeper then that. As much as a toddler is able to be, she's materialistic, greedy, selfish (different things, I assure you) and has the fondest desire to take over the world. Which she will. I promise YOU.
She's really good at the cute act. Unfortunatly, too many time she's let people see the person inside. Which means her friends are made out of two groups. The ones who don't know what she is capable of, and the ones who do. So there.

Casual, Home and Work clothing respectively.

Appearance About average height, he's got really pale skin, curly black hair and intent dark brown eyes that peek out from under hair that is just a smidgen too long. On the slender side and not very muscular at all, he's got the body that suits... well, suits.
Clean, well groomed and more or less 'rich' looking, he's got brows kept tidy, hair kept gelled and clothing kept pressed. In control and put together, he, his publicist, pr and stylist all work together to maintain and carry on an image of wealth, power and charisma. Which works, until he opens his mouth.
With a surly, slightly 'I'm too good for you' expression on his face, he doesn't look stupid. But when he says stupid things, everyone can only agree that it is so typical of the man.
Usually dressed in sober, professional colors no matter what the occasion, it isn't Marc who manages to look good- it's the people he pays that does _that_.
He just hasn't fallen apart yet.
Personality Arrogant. Rich. Spoilt. He believes money can solve everything and that power IS everything. Busy and harried most of his life, he sees everything in black and white. Or at least, used to. Racist, sexist, religious... ist, specist, name it, and he probably suffers from it. Diplomatically unsound and quick to anger, he's every anger management home's dream.
To cure, that is.
Still, he has a smart head on his shoulders, and a careful one. With enough people who work for him to make sure that life goes smoothly, Marc very rarely messes up. But then... that's what his people are paid for!
What he actually does for a living is very mysterious. No one knows, and Marc prefers it that way. Still, ever since Haki has arrived in his life, everything seems to be getting worse for wear.
But hopefully, it will sort itself out.

Home is where the money is!
Marc and Haki own two homes. one is in the middle of the city, close to work and a prime location. The other is a small complex located inside the compound of... well, Haki's birth project.
Each bathroom is luxuriously decorated in gold and lace, with sprawling vanities and tubs large enough for a grown man to sink in. In both homes there is more than enough to go around- and both are similarly decorated enough that no one gets too confused.
The rest of the house is always extremely plush. Full of vanities and idols that should be too valuable to be kept in the house with a toddler. But still, it works-- somehow. And Haki understands high value, and respect for goods.
Every bedroom has a queen or king sized bed. Canopies are sometimes optional, but each room has a specific color theme. Haki's is always pink, and Marc's always gold. But that should have been obvious.

Haki owns a lot of things.
Haki recieved this gorgeous box from a certain fan wielding queen thinking god aunt. Or she will be, when Haki's through with her! A beautiful box, she keeps it as well, occasionally taking it out to purr.
Of course, the most important things inside the box were the presents! Two beautiful fans, Haki doesn't take them out all the time, because what happens if she ruins them? Still, they are in a very important, strategically worshipping position in her room. It's also influenced her love for pretty, delicate laced stuff.
Thorn bought this for Haki. It was an excuse to 'drop' by the apartment, close to where Hadrian lives, but Haki doesn't care. She's in love with the man who buys her pretty, shiny stuff. It's the beginning of a dangerous amorous trend...
It's not a present per se, because Elysia made it as an av edit. But damnitall, it's going to go down as one! IC'ly, Marc bought a custom doll for Haki ever since she decided Barbie was too popular and powerful to keep as a toy. (Rival alert!) Haki adores 'Princess', however, and refuses to let her leave her sight. Hmmm...
Haki was waiting for Marc to finish his shopping, sitting in front of a highschool student who doodled her his picture.

From this meeting, she's not quite sure how she feels about the wolf girl. Actually, she's not quite sure she understands the wolf girl at all! At times she seems too friendly and clingy to be considered an enemy, but at other times she's too abrupt and stubborn to be considered a slave. So Haki has come to a rather unwilling conclusion that this girl might be an ally, an equal... of sorts. As a toddler however, the wolf girl's markings and fur holds an oddly childish appeal. She wants to rub up against her too!
 neutral Haki has met Osha once.
Haki has met this one once. While aesthetically she thinks he's quite pretty and likes to have him around the same way a woman might collect odd pieces of art, practically, she's out of terms. He seems friendly and easy to keep, like a jester. But at other times, his inability to accept her as lord and master has her think of him as little more than a bimbo. But there is something about him that has her hesitating over a final decision, and she wants to know, really, if maybe he will have more potential in the future.
 xd Haki has met Gavin very often.
Haki thinks that he has the prettiest out of all the people her size. Having said that, what really attracts her to the bird boy is that so far, he's done almost everything she's asked! Plus she took a bath with him AND slept in his bed. What could get better than invading someone else's personal space? Nothing, in her mind. Linked somewhere between 'equal' and 'slaved', she still has his feathers in her room, and is planning to make something pretty out of them. Although she has somewhat nefarious designs on his pet rabbit doll, what the boy doesn't know, won't hurt him! Something like that.
Haki considered Gavin to be her best friend. This is partially due to the fact that he is the only one she sees so often- her only friend, perhaps? Whatever the case, she is used to seeing him around, with either Remiyah or Thorn in tow. Close to him, she's protective-- and considers him to be her hero! (And her as his princess). So be careful if you cross him! She'll go all out to... ... sic Thorn on you. D=

Haki's belief and behavior around Ismet is influenced by two things. One, that he is bigger than her (which is true) and another, that he knows everything (which, is not true). So she holds respect and awe over the one who has promised her to help her rule the world. Which means essentially that it's his fault that she's so into it in the first place. Seeing him has family (step brother?), he's more or less someone she looks up to. Kindof.

Ruling the world one step at a time...Name: Haki
Blend: Lace
Growth-to Stage: Child
Basic personality: Haki has decided to take over the world. She's become much more self assured in this, having found an advisor, a jester, a hero and an equal among the current ames group. XD She's more shrewd in using blonde cuteness to get her way, but she's still a child enough that often, she gets distracted from her main goal and acts... toddler-ish. ^^ Vain, easy to manipulate if you're smart about it and quite domineering, she doesn't mind following, backing down or leaving decisions up to someone else. As long as she gets something good out of it.
She's quite a sociable little animal, she doesn't like to throw tantrums or sulk, even if she's hurt. It's a control thing, unless she thinks it'll work. Something about appearing weak. She likes pink, sweet candy and soft toys, and while she likes to OWN things, she has no problems sharing. As long as enough gratitude is made and she feels like she's getting something out of it.
Haki is still a toddler/kid, so she's distracted easily by bright fan fare and shallow performances. Gaudiness has a somewhat exotic appeal to her, and through Marc's influence, while she has developed slightly frou frou tastes, she also knows how to tone it down and streamline her look-- so that it's just on this side of acceptable frou frou.
Haki's fear is to be ignored, ridiculed, look down upon and treated with disgust. They are shallow, prevention of world domination fears, and she's young enough that she wants friends-- and lots of them! So she's willing to put aside her long term plans for the sake of companionship and entertainment. For now. XD
Haki hasn't discovered sex, religion, rock and roll or anything of the sort. So she still works by trying to look sweet and girlish when it comes to adults, and herself with others her age. She hasn't quite made the connection that adults were children once, yet.
Changes to appearance: her hair is a little bit longer. not quite shoulder length, but longer, because Marc wants her to have long hair. Just wait until HE discovers the curler. Beware! Right now it's word kind of slick. Not quite straight, but straight enough? The front is a little bit neater too.
Clothing is pretty much the same, but finer, more high quality stuff. She does like lace, because it looks pretty.
Usually in shades of pink and white, very rarely if ever will you see anything else. However, she has started to construct a rather gaudy necklace out of a certain set of orange and red feathers. So. That's something.
Suggestions: No suggestions. Haki is generally a sweet kid. A little bimbo toddler who will be easy to take advantage of. She thinks she's _so_ smart and correct. You see?
