Info: Kupo wasn't truly Alex's first pokemon. She started with a Sandshrew, though they didn't get along very well. One day, she met a man who said he'd be willing to trade a rare Pokemon for the Sandshrew. With both trainer's and Pokemon's consent, they switched. In exchange for her relatively strong Pokemon, she got a young, new-captured mix between a Meowth and an unknown creature. It was kinder and more friendly, though much, much weaker. She had to push hard to survive with it. Though they were fast friends, it didn't help much.
