"Come on! Hurry up!" Sekhmet called, bounding through the foliage at top speed, the mix of dry leaves from the slow drought, and the leaves that still cling to verdant greenery with desperation make a peculiar and facinating 'music' as she bolts through them, her small frame almost vanishing in the mottled shadows as she runs. "You're so SLOW!" She teases, of her playmate, regardless of the truth in this matter. "Slooooowwwwww."

The youngster rushed after the older femme. She was as black as his sister though she didn't have the white that his sister had. He wasn't slow either. He decided to cheat a little after being called slow. He had learnt to climb trees, carefully and his mother had told him as he grew he wouldnt be able to because of being too heavy but for now he got up the tree and was alot faster up then down, and she couldn't see him!

Sekhmet blinks, turning in a circle when she stops hearing the sound of feet behind her, which is puzzling. Had she outrun him? Jeeze, he hadn't been THAT slow..." Frowning, she flicks her ears slightly, bright red eyes gleaming. "Hey! Where did you go? You didn't give UP did you?"

He continued running till he was well past he, and she was shouting about how silly he was, well, this would be interesting. He jumped down and sat down licking at his paw looking relaxed before saying anything. "Who says I am the slow one? Geesh, you spend so much time shouting, I get past ya in no time!" He chuckled and stayed where he was with a cheeky grin on his face.

She turns around with a cubbish growl to make a mock run and tackle at Dhara. "Ooooh, you're CHEATING!" She anounces, though she can't prove it. "Laugh now, fluffy head." She notes, attmepting to batter him with her paws, though she hasn't extended her claws. "WHen you turn into a big ball of foof like my dad and Unckles Maji and Enki, we'll see who's faster. ME, thats who." She boasts, as she buffets at him. "And you're going to say "Ooooh, Sekhmet! You're so Fast! I never should have doubted you!" She continues, teasingly.

"Yep, I will, that comes later though, for now..." He laughed and batted at her with his paw. His green eyes watching her shadow shape move around him as they played in a mass of fur, teeth, paws and tails!

"Grrrr. I think you should practice now." SHe teases, ducking his blows as best she can and lunges to wrestle with him. "Say: Sekhmet is so fast, she's like a cheetah!" She demands, amusused, her tail lashing and bright red eyes glittering.

He laughed and continued to duck her own paws and attacks. "You will never be as fast as a cheetah!" He laughed, his making of a mane getting caught up in his eyes every now and then. He then went to pounce her to pin her down. "Even if you will be faster. I will be stronger!"

"Maybe in time..." She laughs, strugling with him. "But right now I'm older than you! So that makes -me- bigger and stronger! Ha HA!" She notes, in triumph, as she batters out with her back feet as she rolls beneath his attempts to pin her. "And I will be fast, I'll be faster than fast. And I'll have the sharpest claws and the strongest teeth of any of the hunters! I will!"

He scrambled away from her and jumped at a tree climbing it pretty quickly. He then laid on a branch much like a leopard and peered down, "Can you get up here though?" He stuck his tounge out and laid quite comfortably!

Sekhmet growls as she ponders this, pacing around the tree and voiceing her answer by doing her best to scrabble up after him, though she has no idea how to scale a vertical surface, and falls off two or three times before having to admit defeat. "No. But you've got to come down sometime..." She says, thumping her tail back and forth. "I -knew- you cheated!"

He laughed, "Didn't cheat! We were racing, you never said we couldnt run in trees!" He stuck his tounge out again and stretched on the tree before laying down again. "I dont need to get down at all! I can move about freely and happily!" Yes this was good, he was better then her at something!

"I wasn't aware that I was gonna HAVE to say that!" She protests, staring up at the other cub. "Are you SURE you're really a lion?" She demands, pacing back and forth underneath him. This of course coming from the she-cub who more closely resembles a panther.

"I am NOT an panther, I'm a lion!" She chalenges, drawing herself up with pride. "And I think you look more like a little green eyed monkey sitting in a tree like that..." She snorts, taking another go at scaling the tree after him, with much ripping of bark and struggling before she slides back down.
