Backlash was overall a great ppv, but it had two endings I didn't like.
Kane vs Big Show:
three letters describe my reaction to the end of the match: WTF?
the match was great. I thought Kane was gonna totally win (which he did, but by dq). but what was with the lights turning red and the voice saying "May 19th" over and over and kane absolutely freaking out? that's not an ending to a match.
John Cena vs Edge vs Triple H
great match. I loved it. I was on the edge of my seat (no pun intended) all match. I'm not mad that Cena won. I'm not.
But now, unless there IS a draft lotto, who will Cena fight for the title? there aren't many serious main eventers left on the show that HAVEN'T faced for the WWE title while Cena held it. And let's face it, as much as I'd love to see Edge the WWE champ again, he doesn't seem to be able to beat Cena, and Trips had his second shot and lost. I mean, I GUESS they could go with Edge saying "I never got pinned," but how well would that work?

Well Chris Masters may get a push for the title, but I doubt it. He has been in two different matches for the title, but neither of them were won by him. I'd love to see Masters get the title. But I don't think he'd get it so soon in his career.
Maybe Chris Jericho might return and attack Cena. razz
