Logo (the channel) released a mini series about lesbians in the 1920s (I believe it was set in the twenties). I believed it was released sometime in February of this year. Two women apparently fall in love and one of them cross dresses as a boy. Im not sure exactly what else goes on.... But does anyone know the name of it? I want to see it. It looked really interesting when I saw the preview.

No, I'm sorry...I've never even heard of that channel.
The one TV series I know of that deals with lesbians is The L Word, which, by the way, looks extremely hot. It's supposed to be more mainstream-ish, too (and it amused me that most of the watchers really were women rather than men).
But I've never watched that, either.

Yeah, I've seen The L Word. It is totally hot. I love that show even if I don't get to watch it often.
Logo is one of those three-digit channels. I think it's kinda new actually.

kageling No wonder. I'd never heard of it before you mentioned it. o__O I just googled the channel. It's apparently a channel for the Gay/Lesbian/Transgender community. No wonder the two times I caught the channel (I was at my friend's house) they were giving a commercial for that mini-series I mentioned above and Ma Vie en Rose. Quote: Logo is a U.S. digital cable television channel owned by Viacom's MTV Networks division. Targeting programming aimed at the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community, it launched on June 30, 2005. The advertiser supported channel struck carriage deals prior to its launch date with DirecTV, Charter Communications, Adelphia, Cablevision, Time Warner Cable of New York City, and RCN. A deal with Comcast was reached after the launch date. Logo was available in an estimated 18 million homes as of September, 2005. Logo has partnered with CBS News to provide news briefs and has developed a relationship with LPI Media, publisher of The Advocate, Out, and The Out Traveler magazines. In conjunction with Viacom and MTV Networks, Logo will feature more than 150 movie and documentary acquisitions and is currently in active development with more that 20 original projects. Got that from Wikipedia.org. Here's the link to Logo's website. http://www.logoonline.com/

Damn, now I wish I had an extensive TV network system.
Blast these ridiculously expensive frivolities! I'm too Asian (and therefore too cheap). T___T

I wish my family had cool TV channels. I'd love OUTTV, which is the Canadian equivalent of that Logo thing, it seems.

It looked really interesting when I saw the preview. That sounds familiar. There was movie I saw...I think it was called Boys Don't Cry... But two girls do fall in love and one is cross dressed as a boy and the other girls think she's a guy, but really isn't. She finds out when he family strip the cross dressed girl to reveal the female body part parts.

Ummei Genkai Was the girl that cross dressed black? and the girl that didn't blonde? I'm not sure to which series you're refering too. For the mini-series I'm talking about no. They were both white. For Boys Don't Cry. The cross dresser was white. I don't know about the other girl. But what is this one with a black cross dresser?

Logo was part of the package I had a while back, but I've moved many times since then... it's the most amazing channel ever... it has crazy awesome short artsy films. They're called the 'click list' or something.
