should i leave my youthgroup to work with children on wensday nights i love youthgroup but i love to work with kids also i need help

You should pray about it before you make a decision. It's good that you want to help out with the children's ministry, but you also need to consider what may happen with your relationship with God if you leave the youth group. So, pray about it and see what God says about it.

Also consider a comprimise. maybe you can work with children every other week and attend youth group on the weeks you are not. or you can find out if there are other ways or times to serve the children, or other times to hang out with the youth group.
Indeed, you should pray about it before making your final discision.

Try to decipher where God wants you. Youth group is all well and good, but not if God wants you in children ministry, or vice versa. Remember that neither youth group or the children ministry are necissarily required for your relationship with God ahead of the other, so long as the one your in is His will for you.
