I have the first two volumes but not the third cause I'm broke and haven't been able to drive out to Borders lately.
I love them. xD Y'know there's a CoM manga now? I'm hoping it gets lisenced here as well and translated.

The greater your shadow becomes...Any book store that sells manga. It is hard to come by though...the Border's near me only has a few copies for each shipment.

I was thinking about it, especially since our Waldenbooks store has a thing where you can buy two softcover books and the third is half price. I just wasn't sure how much I would like the manga. Would you guys say that it's worth it?

I was highly disappointed with the mangas actually. I bought the first two.
I'm a huge manga fan, and I'm used to reading backwards. So the fact that the book is from front to back kinda took away that Japanese feel to most mangas.
Then there's the panels and plot. Moves along WAY to fast. If you never played the game, you'll be confused on most parts. And if you did play the game... even still get confused at times. I recall stopping and staring at a panel for 15 whole minutes, trying to figure out if I skipped something somewhere or what.
The artwork is awesome on some pages, then just plain embarrassing on others. Shiro Amano needs to decide whether to draw good art or bad.
Need proof of what I say on the artword? Go to the panel where Darkside appears in Destiny Islands. Then go to where Pluto finds Sora and looks at the eyes. There's a lot more I can point out, but I'll stop.
Then again, this is just me nitpicking. Even with all this bad, I'd still suggest picking it up. The side plot with Riku is a nice add to the plot. And if your just to lazy to actually play the game, I guess reading it would be a good substitute as well.

When I first saw it, I was like "ZEHOMG KINGDOM HEARTS!!!"
And then I tried reading the first, didn't work.
So I tried de numba two...I was even more let down.
I haven't been to Borders in a while, so I haven't seen number three yet, but, after seeing the first two, I don't think I want to see it. But...I'm all about good artwork in manga. If it isn't good artwork, I won't even pick it up. sad As OtakuEmi said, the artwork is bad at times, I agree. But, with such great artwork in the game, I was expecting more in the manga. If I am correct, they released the first and the second at the same time. Maybe the artists and publishers should've spent more time perfecting it. They could've made it longer, so that it is easier to read, too. Just picking up the manga, it felt so LIGHT! When you can tell how short a manga is by its weight, you know they're is something wrong. But, I'm a nitpicker with manga, you can give me any manga you wish, and I will name at least one bad point in it. sweatdrop xd

I have the first one, and am not terribly impressed with it- however, I'll continue collecting when I have the cash for it, simply because I need to collect stuff. biggrin
