------------> girl's hall
Sachiko made her way into the room, carelessly throwing her backpack into a corner. With a sigh she swung her hair over her shoulder, closing the door behind her and tossing her cardkey on top of the her dresser.
She did not hesitate to strip off the pine green jumper, letting the frock puddle on the floor at her feet. She stepped out of it, the crisp white dress shirt hanging down to just above her knees. Her fingers began to undo the buttons at her throat when she heard a weird noise. She frowned, her fingers stilling as she tried to identfy the noise.
Ping, ping, ping, ping. What the hell was that noise. it was coming from the window. With a slight frown of confusion, she made her way over to the window to investigate. She slid the windo open, and was instantly greeted by a cool breeze that lifted thewispy strands of hair around her face. She poked her head through the window, leaning against the window sill to find the source of that metallic ping sound. Her eyes grew wide as some foreign object came hurtling her way, and her head snapped reflexively backward as it smacked flush against her forehead with stinging accuracy.
"The hell?!" Sachiko reached up, her fingers closed around the penny on her forehead, looking at the coin in bewilderment. "Who the hell is out there?" And why are you throwing pennies at me?!"

"Sa...Sa...Sachiko. Um...Hi....sorry about that, I was just trying to um...clear my mind. So....how are you tonight? You look as beautiful as ever."
Sachiko smirked up at Ariko up on the roof. She shook her head slightly in disbelief.
"Sato-san? Ariko Sato? What are you doing on the roof?! Like shockings that much do you?" Free of it's usual ponytail her fine dark hair spilled freely over her shoulders. She smiled up at the boy on the rooftop, leaning on her folded arms on the windowsill. She still held the penny between forefinger and thumb.
"Me, well, I was having a nice time getting ready for bed, I guess. " She titlted her head, grin spreading. "You think I look pretty? So why the beautification technique with the coin? I never once considered adding a red dot to my forehead, as I'm sure I have now. So, am I cuter now? Or was that purely unintentional?"

"Well it was purely unintentional, however, it doesn't look bad on you. Ever think of becoming a Krishna? Just kidding, but seriously, you do look rather beautiful tonight. That's something I can't joke about, a girl like you would have any guy falling at her feet. Hell, just looking at you now makes me feel a little.....um.....nevermind."
Sachiko snortd at the Khrishna comment. That Ariko, always ready with a snappy retort. She shook her hand, flapping a hand at the compliments he sent her way.
"Oi, Sato-san. You and that honey-sweet tongue of yours. I bet you say that sort of thing to all the girls, ne? Or are you going to tell me that girl you were kissing in the hallway is your long lost cousin and the two of you were just getting reaquainted. I must say I do detect a likeness with the hair, but that's not how I greet family. Could just be me, though. " She shrugged, leaning just slightly further out the window. She grinned up at Ariko.
"Who am I to judge, ne? I'm the 'baby-killer' after all." She really never knew how to take the exaggeration of her crimes that landed her in Matrimony in the first place. She'd actually laughed when Nanahara had reported the rumour to her, not realizing that Sachiko was the one the rumor was about.

"Hey, don't go accusing me. That girl's running some type of game with Motoki, I was just used like a pawn."
"Manwhore Motoki? Heee, well then, god luck to her with that one. Soooo... does that mean you're single? Or are you just taking pity on me because you assaulted me and don't want me to report you?" She giggled softly.
"Well now, why are you so damn negative? Seriously though, I really do like you Sachiko. Maybe we can sit next to each other at the assembly, grab something at the union before class."
Violet eyes grew wide at the unexpected invitation, and she straightened up in the window.
"Why Ariko Sato, are you asking me out," she giggled. When he didn't laugh back or wave it off, her expression changed. "You're serious?" Her hand closed around the copper coin, and she smiled sweetly up at the boy lurking on the roof. He was pretty cute. And he was funny. Sachiko gave a short nod in affirmation.
"Hai, Sato-san, I'd love to. Oi, Lolita! I forgot about her. Do you mind if I maybe bring a friend? I dunno if she'll wanna come but i can't just ditch her, ne?"

"Damn straight I'm serious. Why wouldn't I be? And Lolita-chan can come too if she likes, as long as you promise to sit next to me anyone you like can come."
Sachiko blushed slightly. And what brought on this sudden interest? Oh well, it was nice to be flirted with, whether he was sincere or not. She giggled again and nodded.
"Hai hai, I promise, Sato-san. I'll sit right beside you, ne?"
"Why don't you keep the penny as a reminder to sit with me. It is officially a date now you know."
Sachiko pulled her fist to her chest, nodding again. What a nice sentiment. She really would keep the penny too, she wasn't just saying it.
"It's a date then."
She blew the boy a kiss before pulling down her blinds. No peep shows from Sachiko's window, that's for sure. As she continued changing into her pajamas, she didn't take her silhouette showing through the blind into consideration.

"GOODNIGHT SACHIKO!!! SWEET DREAMS!!!"
The girl jumped in surprise as she slid the oversized lime green t-shirt into place. She whirled around to look at the blinded window, a slight blush coming to her cheeks and a pleased smile on her lips. She twirled a lock of hiar between her fingers. He called her Sachiko. Not Shinohara-san. She giggled, it was nice.
"Goodnight, Ariko,' she murmered, looking down at the copper coin in the palm of her hand. She placed the penny on her desk before flipping off the light and climbing into bed. She'd have to tell Raven all about this tommorrow.

"Oi, Sachiko, you really are so pretty...I just want to brush your hair. It's so long and shiny....may I?"
Violet eyes fluttered as Sachiko batted long, coal-black lashes. She nodded in acquiesence as she passed the silver backed brush to the teenaged boy behind her. Ariko accepted the brush with a smile, and gently ran the bristles through the ebony mane.
"Oi, Sato-san, why all the sudden attention?"
"Oh, but you wound me, do you have to be so formal...Sachiko?" A thrill of excitement ran through the girl as he leaned in close to utter her name. "I've always watched you from afar, ever since you got here, ne?"
"Sa--Ariko..." Sachiko turned to look at the boy and nearly gasped as his lips met with her own. Somewhere in the distance there was an annoying, blaring sound., like staticy music. Sachiko grimaced, not wanting to be distracted from the moment....
Sachiko's eyelids slowly raised to be greeted by the sight of glow in the dark star stickers all over her ceiling. There was a pretty orangish tint to the room, as the rising sun filled it with light. "Awww, I was dreaming?" With a soft groan she rose from her pillows, rubbing the back of a hand across her eyes. "Bummer..."
As she lowered her hand she looked to the window, the blind still drawn, and a smile came to her lips. Was Ariko awake yet? Sachko reached over to her bedside table and switched off the clock radio that had roused her in the first place. If it wasn't for that damned assembly... She hopped out of bed, sleep tangled hair streaming behind her, and she lifted te blind. Poking her head out the window she looked up to where Ariko had stood the night before.
"OOOOIII! SAAAA-TOOOO-SAAAAAAN! YOU AWAKE? STILL UP THERE?"

"Sachiko....Hey! I....I....was waiting for you to....um....wake up....uh....I....um....wanted to make sure we were still on for the assmbely and after."
Sachiko grinned at that. There was something different about him, that she couldn't quite put her finger on That was it, he was smiling. Not that he didn't smile all the time, but the way he smiled at her now...there was something different. Or perhaps she was only noticing it for the first time. " Hai, Sato-san, we're still on." She turned ever so slightly, so that she was looking over her shoulder at the boy with a playful pout. "That is, unless you've changed your mind... You haven't changed your mind, have you, Sato-san?"

"A pack of wild boars couldn't chase me off right now Sachiko, I guarentee you that. If I thought I could make it down there without falling, I'd come through the window right now. I should really let you get ready, where do you want to meet up? Your room or mine? I hoped we could walk over together."
Sachiko covered her moth as she giggled at the teenager on the rooftop. She shook her head at his words, truly amused.
"Sato-san, you are so funny. You exaggerate so much." She flapped her hand at him before straightening up, leaning against the windowsill. She tilted her head and dark hair spilled forward. "I suppose you're right, though. We can't very well stay here chitchatting all day, interesting as it may be. I'm gonna knock at my friend's door, to see if she's gonna go with me, so why don't we just meet in the hallway?" She blew the boy a kiss then, with a wink. "See you then, Sato-san!" And with that the girl vanished behind the blind once more. Without the backlight of her bedroom, there was no silhouette to be seen this time as she stripped off her night clothes and hurried into the shower.
"BY THE WAY, CALL ME ARIKO, SATO-SAN IS TOO DAMN FORMAL SHINOHARA-SAN."
Sachiko jumped, not expecting that last bit. She blushed, recalling Ariko's words from her dream. She was glad he couldn't see the stupid look she was certain that was on her face.

Sachiko sat at her desk, towel draped over her shoulders as she ran a brush through her damp hair. The action made her think of her dream of Ariko, and she smiled, her fingers flexing mildly around the green plastic handle.
"I wonder if he really would brush my hair," Sachiko mused to herself. "Oi, but that would be soooo romantic. He seems the romantic sort, with all that flowery talk of his. Hee, he's so kawaii..."
Sachiko harness the still damp tresses into a ponytail, and proceeded to bind it into a braid that hung all the way down her back. The slghtly wet end tickled the back of her knees just below the hem of her pale green pleated skirt. She smoothed out the matching sweater vest, then undid the top two buttons of her shortsleeves school shirt. Snatching up her sneakers from beside the door the girl grabbed her bookbag and vanished into the hallway, locking her door behind herelf.
