Well during my daily wait for May 2nd today I was on my way to work, listening to the local radio station WCLG and they had another "FedEx File"... the DJ mentioned "10,000 Days" and it being "so damn good"... upon hearing these words I cranked up the volume... then he said... "This is 'Wings For Marie'... a chill ran up my spine (common with me and Tool/APC/Pink Floyd songs)... "YES!" I exclaimed and cranked it up even more... one word came to mind after it ended... "Amazing!" Tool has done it yet again... Hearing it unexpectedly made my day... my wait has been eased upon hearing this song. Long live these artists! exclaim

wait wait...so...wait...they released Wings for Marie as a single?
that doesnt seem right...
I think someone is going to be getting a cease and desist in the mail tomorrow lol.
but it IS a sick song...
though, 10,000 Days (Wings part II) is even SICKER!

Some station played Rosetta Stoned too, I heard. They'll end up fired. Haha.
Wings for Marie didn't really do anything for me. I've been underwhelmed by the entire album, to be honest.

As Lucas Usagi stated in his previous remarks on Wings of Marie, I also was on my way home from a retarded day of a college student. This song was slower, but proves that tool can do that after a song like Vicarious. The guitar effect was , hmmm how would i say it, AWESOME!!!

When I heard this song, I was like WOW this to me just only becoming new to alot of Tools songs really shocked me its nothing like their other songs, its a good song but just so different and I like it lol!!!

The first track I heard of "10,000 days" was vicarious on the radio. When I turned the radio on, it was in the middle without vocals, but I knew it was tool. I cranked it and freaked.
Now that I have the new album....wow!! Un freaking believable! Wings for Marie and 10,000 days back to back takes me to a new state. The first time I heard it, I was in a dark room all alone, and I just started crying.
I love Maynard, and I am so happy he is willing to share this part of his soul with his fans.

I was also emotionally moved by Wings For Marie/10,000 Days. I'm sure it was tough for Maynard, but also a sense of closure and release.

MaylaKae I never heard Wings for Marie on the radio... But DC101 played Vicarious to celebrate the debut. I remember that. My mom wouldn't get off the phone. 98 rock did that too.
