Well, there isn't really a secret to losing weight, but there are a few tips you can use if you want to stay healthy while losing weight:

-If you drink soda or juices, try to cut them out and drink water instead. Water has no calories, is good for the body, and when it gets hot in the summer it will keep you hydrated.

-Always make sure you eat breakfast. Aim for something healthy like a piece of fruit or non-fat yogurt if you are short on time. If you eat cereal make sure you eat healthier stuff (I personally like oatmeal, special K, or just plain old cheerios). Some cereals have a ton of sugar, so avoid them.

-Always eat several small meals throughout the day instead of just one or two big ones. This will keep your metabolism going.

-And of course, exercise. I personally hate running, but I find that swimming is really good exercise (especially as it gets hot outside). If you have a public pool nearby, maybe you should try it out. It is also really good for your body because it does not impact your joints as much as most sports, or running.

Yeah swimming and walking have the least impact on your joints also I find that swimming is also meditative so it is very relaxing.

Buy DDR. Not exactly the best excercise, but if you're like me then you'll need to trick your brain into thinking you aren't really excercising.

But AraTeran's suggestions are very good.

DanceDanceRevolution. It's a PS2/Xbox game that you dance to. Like Tirion said, you exercise, but you don't really realize it's exercising.

DDR is an awesome way to excercise. I have a friend who is the same age, height, and weight as you and she always comes over my house to play.

the best way is to balance all your meals out and to exercise, like run and stuff, as well as lift weights

for the food thing

make sure you have a good balance of carbohydrates
too many can make ur insulin level go up, and then that energy (insulin) is stored as fat, a good amount of carbohydrates is about 75-90 grams a day

try not to consume a lot of trans/saturated fat, the normal "fat" is fine, you need that in your diet

no more sugar, sugar is bad bad bad try and consume foods with a very low sugar count, like diet soda or things made with Splenda

don't count calories, it doesn't work

make sure you exercise 3-5 times a week, with a good 20-30 min cardio and 20-40 min lifting weights

pilaties is a good way to tone as well, and it's relaxing and really stretches you out

hope it helps smile

Walk regularly.

Drink lots of water.

I suffer from Binge Bulimia.
It's an eating disorder where you are addicted to food and cannot stop eating. It's not like regular bulimia where you purge after you eat. I jsut don't stop eating.

I'm 16 years old, I stand 4' 11", and I weigh 185 Lbs.
The average weight for a girl my height is 110 Lbs.
I wear a size 16 pants.
I'm supposed to wear a size 2.

I'm working on getting through this. Something that is helping me is keeping control of my emotions while I eat. If you notice, you have strange emotions during your eating and afterwards. think about what could be causing them. Maybe you could find the answer to losing weight in there.

Losing weight is different for every person. So you kind of have to look at your own daily habits/rituals to see how you can change to lose weight.

If you ever need anything, just PM me.

1. Dance in your room. It's a proven solution. Dance every single day. To fast music (Migra by Carlos Santana heart ) or take up salsa. Or sign up for modern dance lessons. You'll be in shape in a week.
2. Buy yourself a hula-hoop.
3. Do sit ups.
4. Eat healthy.
5. Try fasting for a day. (Note: FASTING, NOT STARVING.)
6. Do yoga.
