well in my opinion i thnk they could have done a way better job with those three classes

I must say that I disagree.
This time SE listened on the american population, they wanted the gamber, they wanted a blue mage and they wanted another soloer. You got the Corsair, the Blue Mage and the Puppetmaster.
The music is great, the areas are great. Beseigd and Assault are great.

The game is only unbalanced now because there is an overflow of the new jobs and none of the old ones.

blue mage for the win

BLU is so broken it's not even funny (Powerful broken).
COR is also broken with the Quick Draw ability with the debuffs doing consistant dmg and also broken in terms of the how potent that debuff is and in the instant use so really nice for claiming mobs.
PUP...Fun for the first few levels yet...Eh...Wow. Can you say useless?

They all look broken, i have to compleate too many goals on my main befor i can take another job through the dunz. None of these jobs intrest me

Corsair is the most balanced job of the three. If it wasn't for the overpriced gear this would be the job I leveled next.

Blue mage is overpowered and "the next thing". I think every member of every prominent LS on Bismarck is leveling this job.

Puppetmaster is the most interesting and creative job, but fairly useless as it is after level 30. I really hope that SE makes the necessary changes to balance this one.

yea blue mage seems a bit overpowered

i am not sure about corsair as i never really see them in action

as for puppetmaster it umm they need to fix it badly(heard this job was the last to be created and had to meet the deadline)

but i wouldn't exactly play any just yet as i have my lvl 51 bst of the 3 blue is the furthest level but i wouldn't mind playing pup if it was so useless somewhat because i rather be a beast with similiar properties then play using the puppet which seems somwhat weak

Can blu mages use Throat stab XD or Bad breath? If they can, WOAH they are nuts... (I dont play FFXI anymore.. Im really sad.... My dad forced me to Quit RIGHT as I became lvl 50.......-.- my character is gone and I WAS planning on playing durring the come back thingy but I dont have money... im really sad..; - ; I WAS going to level blue mage...-.-)

Yes, Blue Mages are able to learn Bad Breath, but not Throat Stab. Having Throat Stab would be .. very, very imbalanced.

Blue Mage: Broken, but not as hideously broken as you'd think. This is a job where, to be good, you can't simply be PLed halfway thru the game, nor can you just buy gil and get the best eqiupment. Half to three quarters of this job is having to go out and get the living crap beaten out of you by monsters.

Is it broken? Yes. But it's only broken if you go thru the painstaking effort of getting all of those abbilities. I can live with something you have no possiable chance of getting except by truely and honestly earning it.

Then again I'm biased; I've been a long time fan of the Blue Mage in just about every FF prior, so it's little wonder I take such an interest in it.

Corsair: Mostly balanced, and a very interesting idea; Support/Back-up DD is sort of a niche they haven't examined yet. I also like how Corsair's main abbility (the rolls) are in no way influenced by stats. I'm somewhat annoyed, however, at expecting Cor to do DD with sub-par gun, an NO abbilities which influence his ranged capacity.

Puppetmaster: I haven't bothered doing much with this job, so I have nothing much to say really. It does some like some sort of bastardized, frankenstein POS though. From what it looks like, it seems to be some sort of watered down Monk, who has a pet that is only moderately more controlable then the Dragoon's wyvern. As I've said, I haven't played the job at all, so maybe I'll like more when I dust it off and express more then a castual interest in it.
