Everything Arc is, Zhen isn't. And that's the way she likes it. Poised, refined, and extremely ladylike, Zhen can be a bit of an ice queen. Unless she wants something, in which case she's the sweetest little girl ever to grace the planet. Which is often.

She associates with anyone worthy of her time, which means that she would only dream of interacting with people as refined as she and who treat her with the courtesy she knows she deserves.

But under that cold exterior is a little girl who, while she denies it all she wants, just wants to run around and play.

When they first came to Gaia, Porcelain as a whole grew no taller than three feet high, couldn't speak, and, where they came from, were seen as little more than pets.

Times have changed now, and the Porcelain, while previously limited solely to empathic projections, now have the capacity for speech and language. They also look a bit more humanlike, though their features are still much smoother and delicate than humans.

As a child, Boyan had a very difficult time expressing his thoughts clearly, and was labeled as "slow" by others. Indeed, he seemed to be rather dim-witted, never being able to connect people to negative actions and even falling in love with a bar of soap. Later, it was shown that his slowness hid deep wisdom. He then gained the Celestial Chaos, an entity that gives him limited oracular ability.

Boyan has since grown into a human-sized (albeit still short, though that part is due to his own genes rather than his species) being, with a bit of a mystical air to him. "Grandpa Boyan" is incredibly wise, and prefers the simplicity of tinkering with shiny stones and raising his "grandchildren," the Jumi that live in his home.

Weight: 120 lbs
Likes: Music, dirt, cooking, taking care of people
Hobbies: Electric guitar, singing, dancing

Sweet and naive, Melody always seemed to be in her father Boyan's shadow. She wasn't as slow as her father was in his youth, but had exceptional moments that betrayed her, ahem, lineage. She quickly grew into a gentle girl, in love with frilly dresses, pretty jewelry, stuffed toys, and hard rock music. It was then that she followed in her father's footsteps and took up an instrument. However, while Boyan preferred the gentle and soothing ocarina, Melody gravitated toward the electric guitar.

Although Melody is now grown, she still retains her childish spirit and connects better with the Jumi than Boyan does, as she tends to be "One of the girls." There is a spark of wisdom in her now, which she only tends to be aware of when comforting other family members.
