[-General Information-]

The packs of the Arctic live well ... in the arctic. For most of the year, there is snow and ice on the ground and the only plants that grow here are tundra-like things. As such, the wolves' coloring has adapted to fit this habitat.

Most of them have a summer and winter coat, and the two are different colors ... much like a snowshoe hare. The summer coat would be more brown and gray tones, while the winter will be silver/white/gray, possibly some darker browns.

Their fur is also much thicker than wolves from other regions. This could be a problem if they travel to other regions, since they would then have a fairly good chance of overheating.

As for human forms, because of this thick coat, the warmth from that translates over, so they don't really -need- to wear as much clothing as real humans would. However, keep in mind that not wearing that much clothing might be suspicious if you're going among humans.

There aren't really any large human cities in this region, though isolated villages are very common. As for human/wolf relations ... in this area, the relations are actually a bit friendlier than in others. The humans who live here are forced to live close to nature, so they have a much greater respect for it and the wolves. However, there -is- still some tension, so keep that in mind.

It's difficult for Flower Children to survive in this region ... and if any Flower Child does live here, they generally have a protector of sorts. This is a human or wolf that takes care of said Flower Child ... gives them a warm place to sleep, provides them with water, etc. Also, Flower Children born in this region are a special type slightly more adapted to the climate. And since the only plants in the area are tundra plants, they are based off of these plants. As such, they aren't as pretty as some of the others, but they are still full Flower Children.

Since there are less Flower Children ... there are going to be -more- Deformed Children. Some wolf packs will "adopt" these children, but most are either abandoned in the snow at birth or are sent away when they get a little older. So there could potentially be "packs" of these Deformed Children running around.
