Name: Darkness in Zero (DiZ)
Age: Child [10-14]
Job: Scholar, Techno Junkie
Personality: DiZ is a very jumpy, quiet, and shy child. He dislikes alot of new things and often balks at change if he sees them unneeded. If left to his own devices he makes multiple observations of the world around him, or will be caught reading a book. He's a very serious boy and is easily put off by children his own age acting.. Their age. He acts older than even Vexen, even withdrawn, although he will often turn to his older sister or his mother for protection. He doesn't understand why Vexen hates him, or why he's frightened of his oldest brother.
Notes: Unlike his siblings, DiZ has no powers or skills. He runs merely on instinct and information, or with a computer. He is frightened of his oldest brothers, and sticks close to his sisters. He's not a sissy, but he does often imagine himself a great hero. He calls himself DiZ, however he doesn't remember his actual name. While normally easily given a start, sometimes he tries to protect both of his sisters, although usually his big sister is bailing him out in the end.
He has an unusual knack for programming and knowing how to work with computers, and adores Sea Salt Ice Cream and his carrot plushie. Before coming to his home, DiZ found his lone possession with any clues for him to be a hastily written copy of Prospero's Speech from Shakespeare's The Tempest. Sometimes he is referred to as a "little Prince".

Family
Vexen
Eldest sibling. Vexen can't stand DiZ for some unknown reason to both children and avoids him completely. DiZ is also unnaturally terrified of Vexen. Why?
Marluxia
DiZ is also afraid of Marluxia, but to a lesser extent. He mostly finds him to be a git.
Duo
Duo doesn't frighten DiZ quite so much, however he makes DiZ uneasy by just being so damn TALL. iZ prefers avoiding him.
Amielia (NovaStrike)
DiZ likes his sister, and usually runs to her first for help. Incidently, she's the one who supplies DiZ with half his books. Lately DiZ has decided to help his sister cope with the difficult times in her life... As if obeying his heart....
Namine
He's apathetic towards her. Sometimes he will start to act domineering, however. Then he gets chewed out.
Minty
DiZ has little interest in Minty. All the same, he protects her, as well, and treats her well.
Colonel
DiZ tolerates him, barely. He gets jealous of his brother often, but since he's usually with NS, he stands him. Barely.
Lumine
He's suspicious, but finds him tolerable. If only he'd drop that creepy smile!

Yunalesca - Yunalesca intrigues the snot out of DiZ, mostly due to her ability to create spheres. For this, DiZ finds her talented, AND intellegent. And she doesn't try to kill his siblings. Bonus!
Ruby - He's not sure what to make of her. ... She seems to b00b him. This confuses the daylights out of him.
Aurora - His mother's roomate's daughter. Usually he only visits with her when accompanying NS, but he finds her a decent sort, if not intellegent. He likes intellegent people.
X - Likes X, but wishes he didn't get his older sister so emotional. Overall he likes him, and thinks he's a nice kid, if not a bit naive. He also feels bad that X has Double and Contance as siblings. XD
Double - Intense hatred, especially since he upset Amielia.

I've been living with mother a week now. I suppose it is adequate here. I have four old siblings and one younger sister. I met my brother Duo with mother, and a plush toy named Riku. Quite an intellegent one, if not limited by being unable to speak. I gave him a pen, it might help...
My older sister seems interesting, she's very kind however. Simply easily distressed if something's wrong. The two eldest; Marluxia and Vexen, seem polar opposites. If anything, Marluxia is conniving, hostile, and downright nasty. Vexen is rather cold, calm, and collected. I must admit, I respect his mind, but he doesn't seem to like me. I wonder why....?
My younger sister is an artist, a girl named Namine, and she's usually in her room sketching away. Mother said it's best to let her be if that's what makes her happy, but what knowledge can be gained that way?
I do find writing a convenient way to release stress. Perhaps I'll do some soon.

I am exhausted. I have tried many routes to get my sister to speak again, and am at present enlisting the aide of friends and family.
I worry for my sister. She is good and kind to me. She has potentil. Why can't she see that by being locked away in miery, she can do nothing?
And yet, I feel s if this is a lesson I myelf learned to soon... Or too late. I must help my sister avoid making a greivous mistake... For her own good.

He is the root of the problems lately, I expect. Not Double-- although the insufferable GIT is his puppy when their together. No, I'm referring to Lumine. He is, in and of itself, evil. And I expect he's the reasion Amielia and Colonel, loathe as I am to think of the other, are missing.
Lumine's been up to something. I don't know what yet, but he is. I may have to take matters into my own hands soon if there is no lead... Perhaps I'll speak to one of Amielia's friends. Mother talks to Aunt Psyren enough, maybe Tron or Ansem can help, though that name... Hmmm...
I don't know. Either way, my feelings aren't important. I expect Lumine may well know I suspect him. I've been keeping an eye on Namine, and Minty seems fine by herself...
I don't like this. If things progress as they are, I will be forced to alert the others, take Namine, and flee.
