It is very simple to crack and get the card you want. Here is how I put it.

Okay, for example a SOI pack.

You want Raviel.

Raviel's card number is 001.

Here is the card pack code

039900183 can you find it?

er...you think it works like that? I mean have you tried it on another booster...??

TCGs aren't usually set up that way where each rare has its own booster pack code....are you sure that's not SOI's code???

yes. it is a shadow of infinity code. it doesn't work 100% of the time but increases your chances differently.

You know what, I agree with Tumael on this, there is NO way EVERY pack ever made is given EXACT codes in EVERY store the same JUST for the rare card inside...
the REAL way to check is to bend the pack slightly, if it's easy to do so, then there's a rare card inside, the easier to bend, the rarer the card, Ulitmate rare cards are the easiest and are suprisingly flexible... eek

why don't you agree with Apeiron!? he said that first!!

....

I feel so alone....*shivers*

*leaves*

*returns quickly!!!*

but seriously now, joking aside (for those who take me seriously....), TCGs don't label a pack by its rare... it would be just stupid, and people would see that right away. I mean, who would so such a thing? Its like making each pack a gurantee that those 9 cards (or 5 for some people ^^) you would know what you would get.

Oh and and to throw that idea down a peg, Japanese definitly don't follow that since whenever you get a super rare, you get a rare as well in the pack...and both me and my brother got a victory viper, but a different rare inside it, making the pack unique. On top of that, I got that same rare in a different pack without the viper....

Its chance, your not guranteed (however there is a way to find out if you got a super, ultra or ultimate rare...that I found out is proven).

Fine. So what? Packs are fixed anyways. You have to buy so many to get just one simple little card! Never mind that. But I may just start buying singles online. Imagine what could be brought with 3.99 if we just saved that up.

I've actually heard of people putting the packs on very sensitive scales to weigh the foil on a card. Its a fraction of a fraction for the difference between packs, but its a fail safe way 3nodding

Except for of course, Ultimate rares sweatdrop

psh...3.99!?

I just get japanese, its $50 for 30 packs...plus if you get a super rare, you're guranteed a rare as well (doesn't go the same for ultra and ultimate...).

Heh, so I basically get my packs for $1.67 ^^ on top of that I get more rares then a normal person. And most of the time my brother and I will buy a box each for just that set (easier...less money in the long run), and we basically get every card we want from the set.

Now if I were to make a deck, I would buy singles instead, but if I just want some commons/rares and a bit of them, then I would get a box.

best way I found and er...less of a hassle, is just bend the pack slightly. Its true the foil in the card ways more and makes the card more dense then usual. So, it makes the card a slightly less harder to bend. This method doesn't screw the card unless you're stupid...

However, I don't know if this will effect anything, but the cards are made differently now. If you got the new world championship 2006 game for GBA you should know. Since the three promos also got the new card treatment. Now they are just a bit tougher and a little more glossy.

I found this out after buying my box of EOJ. This may or may not do something, but it's something that could have a factor.

but if you bend it chances are your going to ruin the rare card inside and then youd be screwed

So yeah, Just to clarify, I checked packs of cards at work out of a box, and the codes on the back are all the same 3nodding

so there will NEVER be a formula for this... neutral Supprisingly, my theory works, but you don't need to bend it TOO much, just to test it...
Rare cards are normally kind of bent any-who.
